Concise and helpful
I didn’t agree with some of content at the beginning of the book, but about midway through there were lots of gems. A lot of the content applies to living a good life in general.

Must Read!
During the early days of the pandemic, with absolutely nowhere to go, I found my public self face-to-face with my authentic self. I could no longer hide. There I was. I kind of stumbled into the field of learning new language - or, did I know it's where I needed to tread all along? Either way, I found Dr. Z's YouTube channel and other social media outlets. Her no-nonsense way of discussing the ideas of gender, gender dysphoria, and breaking down the consequences of not dealing with such helped me find the courage to take the new-to-me labels and begin sharing bits of the real me with the world. For three years, I've continued to visit her work and find encouragement, comfort, affirmation, and confidence. I've only just now been able to listen to this book and it is one I will also buy in physical copy. It's stellar! And anyone who knows, loves, or is curious about people of transgender and/or nonbinary experience should read these words. She does an amazing job shedding light into the realities of gender and will help those light bulbs of understanding kick on! Absolutely a must read if you yourself are navigating gender dysphoria and needing to understand what's happening and be guided forward.
