Incredible listen for farm animal enthusiasts

My family has been trying to figure out how to alter our lifestyle to one that is away from the hustle and bustle. We've worked through gardening, and we've been worried that we just didn't have the skills or knowledge to get into actual animals. In depth preparation for raising animals

Although I'm a city dweller, Off Grid Farm Animals Essentials was an interesting audiobook for me to listen to. I often dream of building my barndominium and raising animals on my ranch. The author in this book did a great job of explaining the do's and don'ts, ins and outs of what exactly it would take do embark on such a venture. I found the book did a great job of also putting dollar amounts to each of the operations; what it costs to buy the animal, how much it will be for feed, etc.

This is a highly recommended book for anyone just starting out raising animals, or anyone thinking about buying and raising farm animals.

There are different breeds of livestock and their benefits and cons to having each.There is a pdf version of the print book included to refer to tables. Humane butchering is covered for rabbits. It also covers how to prepare rabbit fur and hides to create products. Chicken breeds and how to breed them is covered. The cost/benefit is covered about raising ducks versus chickens. If you are looking to start a farm and to raise animals, this book is extremely informative on the cost/benefit of different animals and the different breeds.
