Great story

kept my interest the whole time! finished in 2 days. story flowed Great from start to finish. wrapped up nicely.

Amy McFadden Narration is insufferable

Amy McFadden narration is terrible Stifled boorish dead flat annoying and insufferable This sappy ridiculous unbelievable story has good parts that allowed me to continue listening. Lots of eyeball rolling Over use of the "had" tense 😬 This story should be half as long for better delivery and impact

Love her books

I can’t get enough of Barbara Freethy books. They keep me going all day long and sometimes I can’t go to sleep until I finish the book.

Narration Ruined the story!

The story line was good, different twists than your normal mystery. The narrator ruined the book’s experience for me. Her tone sounded pretentious and off putting. It’s a credit to how much I liked the book, that didn’t stop listening several times throughout the book. I will not purchase another book with her as the narrator.

I appreciated the last minute twist. This book was better than I expected. I will look for more from this author.

Awful narration and boring story

The narrator’s voice is really annoying, You will find yourself hating the main character because she is so naive and pretty stupid. I kept waiting for this story to get better and it just didn’t. I don’t know what other reviewers listened to because I couldn’t dislike this book any more than I do. Waste of time.

Excruciating

Listen to the reviews!!! This was incredibly awful. Narrator worst I’ve ever heard, storyline weak and predictable, characters unlikable. All around horrible LOL
