About this listen

There's no rest for the whiskered as librarian Minnie Hamilton and her rescue cat, Eddie, have to investigate a poisoning—and a murder—in the newest installment of the national bestselling Bookmobile Cat Mysteries.

When a heat wave hits northern Michigan, Minnie, Eddie, and their bookmobile head to the beach to catch some rays and some customers. But library business is put on hold when Minnie's restaurant-owning best friend, Kristen, calls. The specialty ice cream cone treat she'd been serving to patrons was sabotaged, making some customers horribly sick. Kristen needs Minnie to sniff out the culprit fast, or the restaurant's reputation will be destroyed forever.

Minnie and Eddie are hot on the tail of the suspect when an employee from another restaurant is found dead. Could the poisoning and the murder be related? It'll take a feline to catch a felon . . .

All 12 book--5/5

Minnie and Eddie are out on the hunt again for murder in this Northern Michigan vacation home. Fun new investigation.
Erin Bennet is a great narrator and has been for all 12 books in this series.
May your team create many more books listen together.

The ending!!!

I love this series, and this has been the best one yet. I can't wait for even more.

Great story but Minnie could have been more savvy

I enjoyed this book, it was full of fun characters a great story line and a happy ending. However when Minnie was faced with the killer walking into the house the first thing she should have done was to call 911, her boyfriend, the sheriff and use the back door not the front

A perfect example of the idiot plot.

First of all the narrator's performance was very much up to her usual standard of excellence. As to the stories, I've mostly enjoyed the series up until now, but this one in particular was just tedious. One would think that if the heroine were smart enough to figure out the mystery, she'd be too smart to get into such predictable trouble at the end. I may listen to the next book, but if it's no better than this one I think I'm done with them.
