Publisher's summary

On account of the superficial points of agreement between Islam and Christianity, many don't see how tremendously deep the divides between them really are, and fewer still have considered the evidence for each faith. How is jihad different from the Crusades? Can we know the life of Jesus as well as the life of Muhammad? What reason is there to believe in one faith over the other, and what difference can the Gospel really make?

In No God but One, New York Times best-selling author Nabeel Qureshi takes listeners on a global, historical, yet deeply personal journey to the heart of the world's two largest religions. He explores the claims that each faith makes upon believers' intellects and lives, critically examining the evidence in support of their distinctive beliefs. Fleshed out with stories from the annals of both religions, No God but One unveils the fundamental enduring conflict between Islam and Christianity - directly addressing controversial topics like jihad, the Crusades, Sharia, the Trinity, and more.

Listeners of Qureshi's first book, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, will appreciate his careful and respectful comparison of Islam and Christianity. Both religions teach that there is No God but One, but who deserves to be worshiped, Allah or Jesus?

Informative and Moving

I have been researching Islam recently. This book clearly outlines the data and illustrates with stories and examples. It is scientific in its analysis, though also obviously moved by the message of Christianity. For each argument he explains his perspectives and thought process from before he became a Christian, and follows up with the refutations that he met.

I would encourage anyone of any belief or background to pick up this book and attempt to refute its arguments. If you put it down and are not convinced of the Christian message, then so be it - you will know the Christian and current Muslim arguments better.

If you are convinced, however, then Christ had this to say about it:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:45-46‬ ‭

ONLY THROUGH HIS SON

Can you imagine the fear that would go through a young mans head wanting to convert from Islam to Christianity and we all know they are real bonafide fears. This book he shares his journey and points out the differences although he plays with words at times, but the cause of this is that fear still guides many facets of his life which is understandable. I give him credit for making the move and thank him for pointing out to Muslims the difference between two very different religions.

Amazing work brother!

I am very pleased to have found this book. For years I have questioned, why is Islam listed as one of the main religions in the world, and now I have a clear/wide understanding. I am infinitely grateful to Brother Nabeel for his dedication in this book! Now, just the commission remains, which is to reach people from all nations. There are no excuses, God is only one, and his name is Jesus.

Apologetics done well

I can hear the influence of Ravi Zacharias in the background of this book, but as it stands, Nabeel Qureshi was one of the best young writers and communicators I've ever encountered. He is just so readable. I came to this after his first work, "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus," and found that not only did Qureshi have more to say, but he does it in a critical yet very respectful way.

He died far too young...

A thorough spiritual investigation

The author is willing to dive into history and allow the facts to persuade his heart despite the great cost to him.

It is a powerful book for Christianity, not solely by one mans experience of faith, while that alone is compelling, but by intense and thorough historical scrutiny.

This is important information for both the Muslim and the Christian.

Life changing

As a folder of Christ growing in Him I want to represent Jesus to my Muslim friends, neighbors and colleagues. To me this means I want to know the truth and grow. In this book I have grown immensely in my understanding of Jesus, faith and assurance in eternal life through Jesus.
