Sooo goood!!!

I had a feeling it would be good considering the world created but it was better than I expected. It makes me chuckle but it also made me think. It’s a must read for sure.

Laughing and thinking

It was really funny, I don’t often laugh out loud at my audiobooks but this one got me. It also made me think deeper. I loved it.

Worth the credit

Loved this book! Even though it’s on the shorter side, it was well worth the credit. Fun to have the world flipped, and forced me to examine a few of my own implicit biases. Full cast was great

Insightful Satire

Clare Brown uses sharp satire to highlight the ways that racism, sexism and class impact individuals and outcomes in the US. It is entertaining and thought-provoking

This should be a Netflix series 😊

This is a story that needs to be told. I love the dramatization of the racism and “othering” that people of color experience in the US.

Loved it!!!

I especially enjoyed hearing Clare narrate after watching her on Instagram. This book is both sobering and hilarious.
