My Life

Rebecca Soler is the best max ever. The other audio books for this series are OK but the ones Rebecca Soler does are my absolute favorite. She really brought max and the rest of the flock to life. Rebecca Soler, if you're reading this, please narrate the other books in this series. You are the perfect max.

As always MAX rides the unexpected winds of change

I would suggest this for a fast paced read and an attention grabber from start.

What did you like best about this story?

Rise of what one thought was the end going to the island and bamm Dylan showed up and Angel admits she is the voice in Max"s head all along.

What does Rebecca Soler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Brings characters to life

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I found myself using my Bluetooth to listen even while driving, preparing meals and doing chores.

print was better

I had read the 8 books some time back. Listening to this, until some midpoint, I thought that I was into a new story; disappointed when I began recognizing the storyline. No character should be forced to go through (trauma and faux love) what Patterson puts Max through. And I did not like having to listen to the sound effects, which is sad because Soler was a great reader. The earlier books thrilled me more than the latter ones.

Wrong chapters

The chapters are wrong. They are one behind. Great book though. Why does this have to be the last book in this series?

My love for this only grows!!

I am a young reader still in middle school and never liked reading, all of my friends judged me for it, I soon moved away from that life and never really saw them much. I remembered watching the movie about it when I was way younger (I don't entirely recommend the movie- kinda sucks.) but was extatic when I found out it was a huge book series, I soon started reading it, it was good the first and second but I drifted off during the other books. Until this one, I fell in love with this one, I enjoyed the sound effects it included to help bring a bigger perspective, this felt so different from the other books in the series and is probably one of my favorite books ever!! (for now at least) there where some words she mispronounced but still great. This is the first ever book series I could never put down, I have huge hatred for science fiction type books (not saying it is science fiction, that's just the vibe I get from it) but this, wow, THIS!! I LIVED FOR THIS!! EVERY PART!!!

I love it SOO much!!!!!!

I have loved all the maximum ride books and I mean I have read each of them like 7 times from a younger age and and now as an adult and still love them just as much as I did as a young teenage girl. But my younger brother also likes the books so they are a gender neutral book siries. I love the like suspense, action and a bit of romance that is in this wonderful book. I love how they make the character’s personality’s each very unique and very deep so it is always interesting. I especially like the character of max and how they make her seem like a very strong person but still has a caring demeanor and strong emotions but she still is a wild card and u never know what will happen next.

What a waist of my time and money

What would have made Nevermore better?

Nothing could help this book. I could not finish it, that is how bad it was.

What was most disappointing about James Patterson’s story?

I felt like I was reading yada, yada, yada over and over again.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was not the problem with this book.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The only thought I had was, I wish I could get my money and time back.

Any additional comments?

My 10 year old Granddaughter and I were talking about the books that we were reading. When I asked what she liked about this book, she could not explan to me why. I felt I needed to find out more about this book. After trying to read it, I now know why she could not explan why.
