Good, cute, sweet story but too much dog

I enjoyed the love story and the performance was great. It went well with the series. It did convince me to never get a puppy. Too much dog stuff that I found more tiresome than cute.

Loved it!

I enjoyed the story so much! Loved the humor, and the romance was swoony! It reminded me of a Sophie Kinsella book. The narration was excellent!

I can’t say enough. Writing and narration were both brilliant. Such a cute story. Love a good clean rom com!! Can’t wait to start the next book in this series.

It is Cute

The story is clean. I loved the narrator. Some moments were cute and made me smile but I would like more depth to the story. Very nice though

Hilarious! Such a fun book!

This is the third book I’ve read by this author and it’s the best yet. I totally adore the British angle! I laughed out loud at times and sighed at others. Give it a listen and/or read. It’s a great book❤️

Poorly written and developed

I know this is only predictable, formulaic fluff, but it's not entertaining fluff. There are so many others out there that the reader can connect with the characters.

The protagonist, claimed to be so kind by other characters, was not. After "the twist" she seemed more interested in telling other people what she knew (i.e. gossip) than the feelings of the person the twist was about--her "friend". She also seems to have zero personality as did the characters, so there was no one to care about in this novel.
