Although clinical research has been conducted on narcissism as a disorder, less is known about its effects on victims who are in toxic relationships with partners with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Individuals with this disorder engage in chronic devaluation and manipulation of their partners, a psychological and emotional phenomenon known as "narcissistic abuse". Unfortunately, the full extent of what narcissistic abuse entails is not taught in any psychology class or diagnostic manual.

Did you know that children of narcissistic parents often grow up to feel responsible for the needs and behavior of others? A narcissistic personality disorder is one of a few kinds of character issues and is a state of mind where individuals have their very own swelled feeling of importance, a profound requirement for over the top consideration and appreciation, troubled relationships, and an absence of empathy for other people. In any case, behind this cover of extraordinary certainty lies delicate confidence that is defenseless against the smallest criticism.

As victims of silent crimes where the perpetrators are rarely held accountable, survivors of narcissistic abuse have lived in a war zone of epic proportions, enduring an abuse cycle of love-bombing and devaluation - psychological violence on steroids.

Story
Do you know one of these men? The catch-me-if-you-can lover...Phil's romantic and passionate one minute, distant and cold the next. The deviously manipulative coworker or boss...Jack denies resenting Nora's rapid rise in the company, but when they're assigned to work together on a project, he undermines her. The obstructionist, procrastinating husband...Bob keeps telling his wife he'll finish the painting job he began years ago, but he never seems to get around to it. These are all classic examples of the passive aggressive man.

Perfect guide!!
There is such a great amount to think about narcissism. This Audiobook will attempt to clarify things in basic terms. This Audiobook permits us to see profoundly the genuine significance of narcissism and how it can influence our lives in each viewpoint. It shows that in one manner or the other we have figured out how to bargain and communicate with individuals with narcissism.

LOvely Audiobook
I would highly recommend this Audiobook to anyone and everyone (effected or not) as it helped save me from a major mistake I was about to make. I also recommend family members/friends of those suffering from narcissistic abuse so they can better understand what is going on in our lives, our heads, etc. The author breaks down very easily and in detail the abuse and how it affects one.

Very Informative
This is the most detailed book on this subject I have learned. I can understand the nature of this illness and how it works. Here’s the thing: there’s nothing you can do differently to subdue the narcissist.

Very Clear
This book made it very clear what I should and should not expect from a narcissistic abuser and how important it is for me to break away from the toxic, abusive relationship. I still also appreciate the book.
