About this listen

A week before Christmas, Aggie bumps into Officer Tom Wood, her on-again, off-again boyfriend, at a new exclusive restaurant. Unfortunately, Tom is not dining alone. A beautiful young woman accompanies him. Tom introduces her as an old friend.

Even though Aggie plays it off as not being jealous, her friends Betty and Roger want to learn more about this mysterious woman. Will this beautiful old friend ruin Aggie's festive mood?

A cozy, comical mystery.

Not a typical mystery, but cute!

The characters of this story are what make it so charming & comical! Betty, Roger & Aggie make a hilarious trio & much of the story is a comical look inside their lives. If you’re looking for the “mystery” it’s at the very end & wrapped up within 5 mins flat which is why it’s not a typical “mystery.” But it’s still cute & a fun short holiday listen!

Poor lil ELF!

So I laughed so hard listening to this! Seriously the "those boobs can't be real" is a conversation we have all had! Aggie is at it again...but her jealousy is kind of cute!

A beautiful misunderstanding

Leave it to Aggie and her hilarious friends to find a mystery where there was none but accidentally solve one in the meantime. This cozy little mystery made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe with all the barbs that Roger gave to Aggie and Betty. This book may have been short but it was short on laughs, fun, and mischief. The book was well written and flowed perfectly. The narrator Jean-Michel George truly made the story come alive with his animated voice.

Another Aggie Underhill hit!!

In keeping with the same formula that makes these Aggie Underhill stories so good this one also has humor and mystery.
Aggie goes on a spy mission that involves Tom and takes Betty and Roger along for the ride. While Betty tries to settle a hilarious bet, an elf ends up in a pickle.
This book was fun, entertaining, and well narrated. I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Aggie is at it again

When Aggie attends her best friend Betty’s birthday, she’s expecting an interesting evening and the company of her friend and her friend’s cousin. She is not expecting to see Tom. Tom who has made it clear to her that he would like more. Tom the police detective who always has a smile for her. Tom with a much younger companion…?

In a vain attempt to look younger and sexier, Aggie decides to dye her hair. The image of this in my mind was quite amusing – Ronald McDonald anyone? In the end, Aggie finds the courage to go Christmas shopping with Roger and Betty at the mall. And suddenly there’s a murder. Aggie just seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the end, all is resolved.

I love these little shorts as they are well-executed and fun to listen to. Jean-Michel George narrated this story and it works because he uses a British accent and Aggie is a Brit through and through, despite living in California. Well done on this one.

Another great cozy mystery!

Aggie Underhill is always getting herself into trouble and saving the day at the same time. Fun short story with likable characters and enjoyable mystery. The twist reveal is nice and again, there is so much history detailed with these characters in such a short time. Enjoyable.

The Narration was done quite nicely. The characters breathed. Great job.
