Brilliant character building with a satisfying slow burn
Julie Anne Long is a singular talent. Her stories are full of people, places and circumstances that draw you in and never let you go. She paints such vivid pictures that allow you to lose yourself in the world she creates. Her stories are all consuming and enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and read them...then read them again. Dominic and Catharine are worthy entrants into the romance genre.

It’s just lovely! In My Season of Scandal, Julie Anne Long weaves a spellbinding tale of love, yearning, heartbreaks, hope, with a dash of politics and a kaleidoscope of emotions. A must-read. While I LOVED How to Tame a Wild Rogue, to me, My Season of Scandal is the best of the series.
Justine Eyre's narration is terrific, as always!

I loved this story from start to finish
This is a romantic, well-written story about many likeable people who are all individually interesting. The Grand Palace on the Thames series is one of the best in romance in my opinion.

Captivating
Sweet story! I enjoyed this so much. Loved revisiting with characters from previous books. This story grabbed my heart and took it for a ride.

They just keep getting better....
what a wonderful story. Well written, great character development, witty banter. I can't say enough good things.
All I have listened to for the past 2 years are regency romance...roughly 1 out of every 3 days. Julie Ann Long is up there with Dare, Vincy, Lindsey, Heath, and the other greats I am forgetting

Another winning installment of a fabulous series
It was simply wonderful to reconnect with the old gang at the Grand Palace on the Thames. Two new faces star in this book amidst the titular season of scandal. As always, Ms. Long’s writing is both clever and heartfelt —and gets you right in the feels. Every sentence demonstrates a gentle, world-wise maturity that is sorely lacking in most other popular HR novels these days. Narrator Justine Eyre is excellent, as always.

The story was wonderful!
