loved it

history, romance, clean, couldn't wait to keep listening. I wish it had kept going or had a second novel.

I loved it!

Story line was interesting and I loved the book but the narration was annoying until the end when she started speaking in a normal pace. For most of the book it was way too slow and lazy for every character. Weird how she picked it up at the end.

Cute, great idea, weak plot

It was just meh. I was hoping for more building of the characters, the relationship happened too fast not enough external story. It threw the couple together too quickly and didn't have anywhere to build. It could have been great if it was a lot longer with more detail, internal and external development and struggle.

Romance and suspense

I really enjoyed this book and I enjoyed the narrator. It had a good mix of suspense, mystery, and romance. And it was clean! I highly recommend it.

Romance with the Enemy? What a page-turner

Abigail had been alone for several months while her father and brother served the British Crown during the War of 1812. Soon a wounded American officer takes shelter in her barn after an attack. She is a physician’s assistant, so naturally she took care of him and some of his men. Abigail accompanied Emmett and his rag-tag militia. But when the American’s are captured, she was charged with treason. So how does a prisoner-of-war save her life? Enjoy the great read!
