About this listen

The first time he kissed me, we kept it a secret.

Tanner and I have been at each other’s throats ever since.

The second time he kissed me, I told myself not to fall.

I should have known something burned beneath the surface, and I couldn’t resist him.

The third time led to something more, and now one positive test later, neither one of us can walk away.

Only when his past sheds light on every difference we’ve chosen to ignore, we’ll have to fight for each other or lose everything before we’ve even had a chance.

Loved!

Tanner and Natalie are the last of their friends to fall in love. What they don’t know, is that each is harboring feelings for the other despite the bickering that goes on between them. One night together changes everything. As they embrace the changes ahead, their relationship goes from friendship to so much more.

Tanner and Natalie’s story is the perfecting ending to the On My Own series.

Great read

I absolutely loved this characters and the way that the story was written. It pulled me in from beginning to end. This is the fourth book in the series but can be read as a standalone though you do get extra enjoyment if you have read the previous books due to knowing these characters and seeing the others in this book. Natalie and Tanner have been circling each other in the previous books, we have seen them sniping at each other but had no idea why. It was great to really get to know these two better and figure out what they had going on. I loved the way that things developed between them and the way that they dealt with the obstacles getting thrown in front of them. They were adorable. Things didn't go smoothly but they didn't let that stop them. I loved the extra bits that we got with the rest of the roommates as it did a really great job of concluding the series.

Wonderful Conclusion

This is the fourth book of the On My Own Series and what an awesome conclusion with Natalie and Tanner. The banter between the two was on point and had happened throughout the series. However you could always feel something under the surface between the two and wondered when and if they would act of them.

Overall this series has been one I’ve loved each couple has been amazing in their own way.

So many feels!

I recently had the opportunity to listen to My Bad Decisions by Carrie Ann Ryan and I loved it. Narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Emma Wilder, this is the 4th book in the On My Own series and brings us Tanner and Natalie’s story and it was an emotional and touching. Though Natalie and Tanner have very different backgrounds, they share some amazing chemistry.

Natalie comes from a family of wealth and privilege; however, she is starting to find her own way. Tanner on the other hand has had struggles and negative thoughts but is truly an amazing man. I loved how caring he was and was there for Natalie when needed. As things begin to change for them, can they be honest with each other and find their happily ever after? Another great read in the series and I just loved the ending we got for all the friends and couples.

Happy listening!

My Bad Decisions

My Bad Decisions (On My Own 4) by Carrie Ann Ryan ... 4.5 Maple Leafs Review

“I fell for you the moment I saw you. The moment I knew you couldn’t be mine. And then we went off in different directions, trying to live the lives we thought we needed to lead. And yet, we found each other no matter what.”

Natalie and Tanner have been dancing around each other for a little while. After sharing a few kisses together and Natalie and Tanner fall into bed together. A few weeks later they are both shocked with a surprise neither expected. A baby. Now they will have to fight for each other and the future they want.

My Bad Decisions is my favourite of the whole series. I loved Natalie and Tanner together. Both of them have a lot of obstacles that they need to navigate, but they are able to help each other grow and realized that they are both worth more. I love how the entire series came to a great conclusion in the bonus epilogue.

Audio... Aaron Shedlock and Emma Wilder were the perfect voices for Tanner and Natalie. They brought the story and characters to life.

Tanner and Natalie are perfect!

What a great conclusion to the “On My Own” series. I have loved this series so much and I’m sad that it’s over. Tanner and Natalie’s story was my favorite and I’m so glad we finally got it. In the past books, you got hints of the angst and attraction they felt for each other. And now, it’s finally here.

Natalie and Tanner have always been at odds with each other. The tension the two have between each other is angst filled but both are afraid and too stubborn to say anything. But one night, that changes. And then a few weeks later, it changes even more.

I love these two together. Tanner was always a favorite of mine from the past three books. He was always so brooding and secretive. That man was a mystery and I needed to know more about him. His past was hard and he is working hard to make his present and future better. Natalie was lucky enough to grow up with everything she could need. But she never took advantage of that, went to school and wanted to make a life for herself on her own. Tanner and Natalie’s chemistry was off the charts hot and their relationship was super sweet. The epilogue wrapped up the series beautifully and it was great to read how everyone is doing in the future.

Emma Wilder and Aaron Sherlock were so good as Natalie and Tanner. I loved listening to these together.

Bad decision just got reversed

I liked how this story played out. It was a friends with mutual attraction.
I was so glad when this story came out as it was the last book in this series. Oh! It had a bit of angst, but it kept you on the edge of your seat.
I liked this book a lot and would definitely recommend whether reading as a standalone or better in the series, it is an awesome read.
