Superb. Better than Book 1
Great dialog, great characters, great plot, great narration = great book.
I listened to Book 2 before Book 1. That worked out ok. I liked Book 2 better than Book 1 but Book 1 was also great.
The author has an interesting base premise but he is not so self indulgent that he spends gobs of time trying to glorify it, burdening the reader with back story for it, having the characters praise it, etc.
Narrator is top shelf. This book can hold your attention well even if all you are doing is listening to it while alert yet the narrator is so smooth that you can also listen to this at bedtime.
I wish there were more than two books in this series, If there were ten more they would be my next ten listens,

Quinto great. Story fascinating.
I love Quinto’s voice. The story is absolutely original and the storytelling grabs you. Really entertaining and follows a nice plot in a short story which is nice. Loved it.

Great sequel
While not quite as powerful as part 1, this book is still a great follow up and does what I think Scalzi does best -- tweaking 1 thing about our world then following it to its twisted logical conclusions. I wouldn't mind hearing more from this world, especially with this narrator.
