Charming!
This is a charming book. The lovely adventures of Mrs Harris set in a time gone by when cleaning ladies were called ‘chars’. Beautifully read by the wonderful and brilliant Juliette Stevenson. She brings the characters to life.
I thoroughly recommend this book, and the other Mrs Harris books, especially the audio version.

Another delight!
Like its predecessors, this installment of Mrs. Harris’s adventures is sheer delight! It’s a sweet story where all the timing is perfect and people’s innate kindness eventually prevails. It’s an easy read and a treat.

Juliet Stevenson brings Mrs. Harris to life
Another wonderful chapter in the Mrs. Harris saga, brought vividly to life by the masterful Juliet Stevenson. This is her fourth time with these characters and she makes them breathe and laugh and cry. Pick any book that Juliet Stevenson reads and you won’t go wrong.
