About this listen

Ever proposed marriage on a first date?

To a guy you first met covered in whipped cream?

(I haven't even mentioned the bit where he won our date at an auction)

There's no ring in my pocket, but I really hope he says yes.

Not because I'm in love with him—that would be ridiculous.

He needs to impress my father and I need access to my trust fund. That's all our union will be about.

For three months, I've just got to ignore the rock-hard muscles I felt when I ran into him, the look in his eye that tells me he tastes as good as he looks, and the chemistry that sizzles between us whenever we're together

Easy. Right?

A feel-good, fake marriage, standalone in the mister series.

So much feels, swoon, heat, heart & laughter

Tristan and Parker absolutely stole my heart! The feels, the swoon, the heat, the heart, the laughs, the cuteness and the steamy chemistry are all plentiful and potent. Honestly, I'm not sure what is bigger...the smile that this book put on my face or the sheer amount of joy it filled my heart with. This couple was truly meant-to-be and I loved that they were such all-around "good people" that genuinely deserved to find love and get that HEA. I adored them, their romance and this book. In fact, it might even be my favorite of the series! I also loved the narration on this book. The dual format is always greatly appreciated by me because it makes it so much easier for me to connect with and get fully immersed in an audiobook. Both narrators gave outstanding performances and I felt their voices fit the characters beautifully.

Great end to this series!

This was the story to end this series with and what a great story it was! I enjoyed this whole series and I am sorry that it had to come to an end but I am looking forward to seeing some of these characters in new, future series.

In this final installment we get Tristan's story. Throughout this series Tristan has been the quiet one that has intrigued me. He's in successful computer security and perfectly happy being a bachelor. He goes to a charity benefit dinner planning on leaving a hefty donation but gets more than he expected or was even looking for. He is damaged from the breakup of his family when he was a youth and the death of his sister.

Parker, head of her own charity who wants to do more has a chance meeting with Tristan that later turns into a date after her charity auction. She is driven to do more and knows she can with the aid of her trust fund but has a marriage stipulation in the way. She never bargained that her charity date would become the answers to her dreams of doing more. Parker is leery of relationships after a disastrous one in her past that left her questioning the motives of others especially since she has experience with others taking advantage of her in an attempt to get an in with her successful father.

This pair enter into a fake marriage but got more than they were looking for. In what was supposed to be temporary for two people that had no plans of a forever in their life it was fun to watch their relationship turn into the best more that one could ask for. Parker while worried about Tristan's motives is shown that it is okay to trust others and that people can have a business relationship with her father while separating that from their personal relationship with her. Tristan on the other hand is absolutely dreamy in how attentive he is to Parker but learns that he needs to trust that he can have a HEA despite the circumstances of the past with his parents.

These characters had palpable chemistry from their first meeting that was present throughout their entire story. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous series and how they were able to wrap up the entire series without making it feel like the series was ending. I was hooked to this book from page one and would recommend not only this book but this series to others.

Outstanding!

As usual Louise Bay does it again. I loved the characters their love story, their HEA, and the continuing threads with their friends for other books in the series. And the audible voices (Shane East) never disappoints. Thank you

Wonderful

I absolutely loved the Mister series. I read every one of the books, Mr. Mayfair, Mr. Knightsbridge, Mr. Smithfield, Mr. Park Lane, Mr. Bloomsbury and the last one in the series Mr. Notting Hill. They were all great. It is a standalone with interconnected characters from the previous books in the series. It is sweet, funny, and sexy plus a little suspense thrown in. Tristan and Parker have great chemistry together. I think Louise Bay may have saved the best story for the last story. Such a fun read. Shane East and Clare Corbett are perfect!

Great story. I’ve loved this series

This is a great series and I hate to be at the end (so far…)…maybe another story or two will come. :) Shane East is my absolute fave and I’ve listened to a ton of his narrations. For some reason, His voice didn’t carry very well for sections of this book-like he was whispering. I wouldn’t have noticed if there wasn’t such a distinct difference in the volume I needed between his chapters and Clare Corbett’s. I had to crank the volume up for many of his. But he is still amazing and so was she.

Beautiful Love Store

A woman with the world at her fingertips choses to be independent and self reliant. Loved Parker and Tristen was a huge surprise given his personality in previous books. Loved the story so much and highly recommend a listen.
