About this listen
When Hana Fisher moves to the small town of Mixon, Texas, to live with her dad, she dreads having to work at the boring pile of dirt he fondly calls a motocross track. But when she gets there, she finds the rinky-dink dirt bike track from her childhood has grown into the most respected racing track in the state - not to mention it's just crawling with hot, sweaty guys.
Now popular by association, Hana endures the pain and sweat of working in the summer heat in order to fit in with a sport she's growing to love. She gets a real family, a best friend and not just one, but two of the fastest racers trying to win her heart.
When Hana abuses her status as the track owner's daughter to help the gorgeous Ryan Russo cheat in the biggest race of the year, she risks more than just losing her job. Every good thing in her life is at stake now - her friends, her dad's trust, and Ash Carter - the kind-hearted racer who may not be as alluring as Ryan, but is proof that nice guys don't always finish last.

Motorcross me
I am not sure if I like the character of Hannaha. She sounds like a trouble lady with anger issues. And stubborn not to talk to her mom after having an argument with her. Because it would be financially feasible to move in. But, she doesn't want to share a room with 5 yr old twins. Man talk about avoidance of maturity. But, Hannaha meets a young man who is preparing to train in the motorcross. But, she doesn't want him to know she is the daughter of the owner of the place. I know she is young, but she seems so immature and not willing to talk things out. Until almost the end where she might lose the guy. The story is so so.

Romantic fun at the racetrack
I picked up this book because I really loved Understudy by the same author, and read by the same narrator. This had a similar vibe: snarky teen whose life is in shambles meets hot guy, fireworks ensue. In this case, it's two hot guys, both motocross racers!
While I had fun seeing Hana delve into the motocross world, and had fun learning about that world for myself, I did find myself wanting to chuck my phone at the wall because of the crappy decisions Hana kept making. It was a little hard to root for her when I wanted to shake some sense into her! I did like the ending, though, and the romance was truly sweet.
This book gets teen angst down, though it might have been a bit too on par for my taste. It was fun, though, and a solid lighter read. And I just love the narrator, so that's a treat!
If you're a motocross fan or don't mind a bit of angst in your romances, I'd definitely recommend.
