This book is a fascinating new approach to the Book of Mormon that offers new insights into how Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. Historia
Joseph Smith was a great Christian thinker, a religious revolutionary, and a controversial figure. Of all the things attributed to him, polygamy is one of the most controversial. It is one of the most discussed issues in Mormon history and continues to be the center of on-going controversy and debate. Other branches of early Mormonism, most notably the RLDS, claim that Joseph never taught or practiced anything that even closely resembled polygamy. Evidence suggests that Joseph was doing something. Yet,...

This is the May 2024 Kindle edition. Latter-day Saints, along with their friends and their critics, face plenty of challenges in today's world. In this book, we consider new perspectives on Church history, doctrines, and practices that will surprise and delight you. The dozens of reframes in this book will enhance understanding and goodwill among everyone interested in the Restoration—believers, critics, and curious bystanders alike—by shifting consciousness toward unity. Great book... read by a droid.
Finally! B of M geography that fits... that works... that feels right. not to mention, Joseph Smith himself said that the history took place in the heartland. I really enjoyed this book, in spite of our cyber narrator.
