Miss Marple to life!

Wonderful performances. You can almost see the characters spring from the pages. Curl up with a cup of tea and a crossword puzzle and get lost in the world of Miss Marple.

Very fun and an easy listen

I love Agatha Christie and these were great Miss Marple shorts. The last few are particularly short but the sound effects and the character voices were very good.

Love the dramatized versions!

I haven't actually read any Agatha Christie books, but I'm very much enjoying the dramas. They are perfect for when I'm working or exercising and don't have time to just sit and read.

Great BBC radio productions

June Whitfield is wonderful and the rest of the cast is terrific. Yes, these stories are abridged but faithful to Ms. Christie. The only negative for me is that inspector Slack is always David Horvitch.

Really enjoyable to listen to MIss Marple in a full-cast audio with background sound effects. June Whitfield gives great performance as Miss Marple. I really enjoyed listening to this series.

Fozzie does it with mirrors

This book is a treat for Christie lovers!
One thing though.
In ‘they do it with mirrors’, there is one character that sounds EXACTLY LIKE FOZZIE FROM THE MUPPET SHOW. I couldn’t focus, I was laughing too much. But, I LOVE that character, he’s my favorite one!
I’m SO GLAD you hired that voice actor.

I really wish more stories had a "cast" performing. THIS WAS PERFECT!! Great voices and easy to picture the stories.

I Love dective cases, that aren't full of filth.

Mrs. Marple is a wholesome dective, yes there is some murder and talks of affairs, but, no real details, or other filth that make current detective novels sell. I like this much better.
