Enchanting, Consuming, and Deliciously Sensual!

What did you love best about Moon Dance?

I would recommend this audiobook to all of my friends! Lorraine Kennedy tells an seductive thriller of a tale filled with Native American legend, suspense, mysterious deaths at the hands of mystical forces, and an all-consuming love between two people who appear to be all wrong for each other. This story was very well written by Kennedy, and eloquently read by Susan Eichhorn Young.

What about Susan Eichhorn Young’s performance did you like?

Young takes this good read and makes it a great listen! With her smooth and sultry voice she paints Kennedy's landscape with ease, inviting readers to slip into the story and become lost in a world of legend, lust, longing and forbidden love. She made me feel Laura and Justin's insatiable hunger for each other as if I were one of them, and it left me breathless and craving more! Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I am so grateful that all four books were included in this listen. I would have died from anticipation overdose waiting for each one to be released!

Moon Book Dance

Moon Dance: Wolves of Outerlands, Books 1-4 by Lorraine Kennedy is a bit strange. I dont love it, but i really dont hate it. So why 4 stars? It is more like 3,6, so it is a bit under what i normally maybe give 4 stars too, but that means nothing when it comes to what i want in a 4 star book.

7 hrs and 48 mins with Susan Eichhorn Young is also a 3,6 experience so the hole thing is kinda weird. Nothing really fits 100%, it is so weird, and i kind a not love nothing about the reading! But still i love the hole thing together!

Wonderfully executed

Moon dance is an interesting story. It's erotic, especially with the sultry voice of the narrator who just exudes sexy. Her inflection on words like "thighs" and such are incredibly effective. The collection of books takes around 7 hours, or so to complete and it's perfect for those long drives that I take. I'm a huge fan of the Crimson rush series and these books have a similar passion to it, though the writing is definitely getting better. I'd recommend this highly.

Shape-shifters, Ghosts and Alternate Dimensions

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would to someone who likes this genre.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Moon Dance?

Justin breaking in on a wedding.

Have you listened to any of Susan Eichhorn Young’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first listen.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had no extreme reactions to the book although Justine was a bit dense regarding his perception of Laura/s feeling for him. It was like how can a smart guy be so dumb.

Any additional comments?

A paranormal tale of forbidden love, insanity, and greed. Laura who is half Navaho works for some sort of developer or lumber company who is clearing out the Sungmanitu's land in Wyoming. The Sungmanitu are a secrete seclusive people who are feared by other Native American tribes. Justine, the current leader in his father's disappearance, insists that his father never signed a contract or made a deal with the developer.

Laura is being haunted by an old Spanish ghost who calls her punta (whore). She is also visited by a ghostly young girl Rosa who tries to protect her and give her warnings. There are another group of interloping jaguar shape-sifters led by Dark Claw. Dark Claw is power hungry and sees Laura as the key to fulfilling a prophecy which will give him ultimate power over an alternate dimension that is home to both the wolf and jaguar peoples.

The book is a well plotted well written fantasy with suspense, betrayal, romance and intrigue. When I finished the book I was wanting more.

Let's Hide Over Here Behind the Chainsaws!!

Narration - Susan Eichhorn Young - OK. She really has a kind of cool sultry voice.

The book is OK, I liked the concept, but I will say that our female MC did everything that you should NOT do - it was like I was watching a horror movie!
Every time she was warned to not do something, she did it. Every time she had an eerie feeling and felt like she shouldn't be somewhere, she went there. How she made it through this book alive still eludes me :)

There's some interesting word choices as well, in fact, I think I would have been ok going through my whole life without reading/hearing the words "wet tunnel" or he lovingly let her "woman's flesh" adjust to his "aroused shaft" Yikes!

But with that said, I was still interested in the story enough to finish the book. It was OK

A Good Story

Where does Moon Dance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Mid range. I prefer not to read/listen to books with a lot of sex scenes and when this book first started I wasn't sure I wanted to listen past the first 10 minutes. I'm glad that I gave the book a chance because it slowly but surely brought me into the book. I'm not all that much into shape shifter books but this story was easy to listen to.

What other book might you compare Moon Dance to and why?

N/A

Which character – as performed by Susan Eichhorn Young – was your favorite?

Laura the main character. This narrator has a great voice and I really enjoyed listening to her breathe life into this story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Laura gave birth to her son.
