A man came in right at closing with a sick dog. The dog told me why he was sick, and I was able to treat him. I had no idea his owner would kidnap me. I had no idea his owner had an entire dungeon of monsters he wanted me to treat. I’ve met a minotaur, a mysterious kraken, a phoenix, and this really massive spider.

I can hear them, too. If monsters are real and I can talk to them, then what am I?

Good Story but…..

I enjoyed the story quite a bit but some of the accents were kind of annoying and put me off listening a bit but I still enjoyed it and will listen to the next one.

Absolutely amazing

I enjoyed the book so much, I can't wait for the next book to come out.

great story, not so great narrator.

I love books based on mythology. The storyline here is interesting, buy this narrator is not good with the male character's voices. She gave the phoenix a voice that makes him unattractive regardless of how hot he is supposed to be. It really takes away from the book.

Wonderful story

This is one amazing story that includes humor and monsters and gods and it is well worth it just to hear the narrator bring this story to life

I really like the idea of this story. I'm going to have to just get it on my kindle and read it. I just cannot get through this audible. The narration is so bad.

Ended too soon

So far so good but cliffhangers arghhhhhh!! I am not a fan of abrupt endings!

Great book - love the story and can't wait to read the next book. Narration was done amazingly. Loved the different voices with the different characters.

It’s just, not good.

I read the summary for this book and was excited to listen to it. After about 30 minutes, I hated it. I couldn’t get to my phone to turn it off and felt like I was being tortured. The narration is terrible. She uses different voices for the different characters, but everyone sounds monotone in their own way. Usually, I can get over bad narration for a good book, but the writing is terrible also. The monsters almost instantly fall in love with the lead character with no real explanation. The only partial explanation is that there is just something about her, she’s different. No real back story to help you get to know characters better. Any writing about intimacy or intimate parts felt like it was written by a 13 year old boy. The lead is a veterinarian but really the book is about her talking to animals. Her being a vet seemed pointless. The writing had so many holes in it. Things just seemed way too easy for the main character. If she faced a problem, she would find out she had a power that would solve it.

Janice from friends

I just couldn’t listen to it. I tried but I just could not get past the voice. It sounded like someone combined a robot voice with Janice from friends. I turned it off after a few chapters.
