Fun, quirky and great narration

The narration of this story had me from the first paragraph. I love Mitzy's self deprecating quick wit and stubborn independence. She has a blunt honesty and self awareness that is refreshing, just sassy enough to be interesting but not obnoxious.

While all audio books can be read as print, not all print books should be made into audio. It is necessary for an audio book to hold focus on very few characters in order to avoid confusion on the part of the listener, and this series hits this mark admirably. The auxiliary characters are fleshed out well enough to make them interesting without taking too many strolls down garden paths that don't necessarily lead to anything significant. My compliments to the author on keeping this story line clean and clear.

The narration is spot on, with a clear differentiation between character voices. And I reiterate, Mitzy's personality is brought out quickly through a splendidly talented storytelling by Coleen Marlo.

With a fun cast of characters this one will keep you guessing. I look forward to listening to more of Ms Marlo's narrations, and reading more of Trixie Silvertale's stories.

Fun series

Fun and entertaining, great storylines and cast of characters. The narration is great , very fun series

Fun Series!

I have enjoyed listening to this series and all it's antics. As usual, I always speed up the books to 1.25 to match my inner ADHD cadence, lol. My only complaint is that the protagonist is 21. Sheesh! Are there really 21 year old's reading these? That was so many lifetimes ago, it's not a relatable age, for me at least. Still, I tend to push that fact aside unless they mention it, and am still finding it enjoyable and reading the next ones as well.

Fun cozy mystery

This is a great cozy mystery series with a paranormal twist. The characters are quirky and entertaining. The mysteries in each book kept me guessing and kept my attention. Mitzi inherits a family fortune after being in foster care as a child and being on her own as a young adult. With her inheritance and her move to Pin Cherry, not only has she inherited a book store and money, but family she didn't know she had including a father, a ghost of a Grandma who is a hoot, and an unusual cat named Pyewacket. Add a potential romance interest a villain and a dash of humor and you have a great series.
