Publisher's summary

Iniquus is an elite, top secret group run by some of America's most formidable retired special forces operators. Their jobs include intelligence gathering, hostage recovery, and taking on black-ops assignments when the US government needs plausible deniability.

One of their newest intelligence hires is Lexi Sobado, code named Lynx. While Lynx tries to make a name for herself as a the only female operative on the team, a new neighbor moves into her neighborhood - their pasts are dangerously linked together.

Lynx becomes a pawn in a deadly international game, is kidnapped, and flown out of the country.

Striker Rheas, a former Navy SEAL is not just her commander, but the man Lynx secretly loves. His feelings for Lynx are complicated; he both respects her abilities and wants to keep her safely tucked out of harm's way. Now it looks like it might be too late to protect her.

Driven by their iron clad determination and fierce loyalty, Lynx's team, led by Striker, is tasked with finding Lynx. While they are used to saving strangers, this time they are trying to save one of their own.

Loved this!!! Really great story!

This story was very well done! We get to see Lexi again and see her settling in with the Strike Force team and her job as puzzler. Striker and Lexi are also moving into a romantic relationship and figuring things out. We get to see them as they continue getting to know each other and as their feelings both continue to grow now that they are open about it with each other they are now having to deal with each other being in danger and the field with what their jobs are. Lexi and Striker definitely have some growing together to do as they work things out with danger pressing in on them again and lots of questions as her mentor Spyder gives some cryptic information and then is pulled out of Lexi's reach. There is a woman that is way too interested in Lexi that has moved into her neighborhood but trying to put the pieces together is difficult with the little they have and trying to figure out the bigger picture. I really enjoyed the way that this story developed and it definitely held my attention the entire time. It is very well done and engaging. I loved that it picked up right where the last one left off and the story continues to build. There is definitely a cliffhanger so be ready with the next book in the series, (it's out) as you will definitely want to start it immediately. It is very well done and definitely gripping, needing the next one. I can't wait to see what happens next!!!

Fabulous Series!

Each book in this series has had me engaged from the start! Missing Lynx as just as on-the-edge of my seat as I like in suspense. I’m particularly impressed with how well FQ crafted the MC, Lynx. She’s very young, yet has a vast repertoire of knowledge and skills bc of how she was schooled. Yet, her innocence and naïveté shows through in just the right moments. I love a badass FMC, and Lynx is truly that. Jesse Vilinsky is the perfect voice for Lynx…wonderful performance!

Great series! Narration pretty good.

Missing Lynx is the second book in this series. You really need to read or listen to the whole series. It is SO good! I love the writing and the characters. The story has great suspense, action, and a romance, and also some paranormal. There are a few pages of cruelty that are too much for me, and I easily skipped those. This book ends in a cliff hanger. The narration is pretty good, but not one of my favorites. I love Fiona Quinn's writing and this series.
