About this listen

She can't remember.

Honor Thomas can't remember what happened. Someone abducted her. Shackled her. And somehow, miraculously, she escaped. She just doesn't remember who, or how, or why.

A gorgeous, mysterious man dragged her out of a raging river deep in the Oregon mountains. He looks dangerous...he is dangerous. But something about him draws her irresistibly, igniting a hunger so strong she barely recognizes herself.

He can't forget

Former SEAL Matt Walker was dishonorably discharged for the crime of protecting the innocent. Now he's licking his wounds in a remote mountain retreat, minding his own goddamn business. The last thing he expects is to have to drag a half-dead woman out of a torrential river. A stunningly beautiful woman.

Honor is amazing. Smart, tough, brave. She slipped her shackles and somehow escaped from her cruel captors. She doesn't know how or why. Whatever it is that she did, whatever she does or doesn't remember about what happened - those filthy bastards who tried to hurt her are going down, and he's just the man to make it happen.

Contains mature themes.

Midnight Renegade

Matt and Honor were thrown together due to one mans greed. She had been kidnapped and drugged. Matt was unofficially working for ASI while trying to figure out what he wanted to do. He had been discharged from the military with an other than honorable. While fishing he catches the biggest catch in his life. Honor some how was floating down the river. Read more about it. Well these two find common ground and with the ASI team fight off the bad guys who want to take down the USA.

Can't finish it

I typically love this author, but you can make a drinking game out of this book. Take a shot every time she says, SHACKLED

not a fan of the narrator

If you're in the mood for an over-the-top alpha hero this is a satisfying story. I recommend reading it though. I'm not a fan of the narrator. Probably would be better with a male narrator.

Boring

Audio would have been better with a stronger narrator (this one not bad, but the men could sound stronger). Typical case of a small piece of dialog, followed by A LOT of internal explanation. Story not strong enough to keep me interested from one bit of dialog to the next.
