Twisted & Magical

I found book two to be as entertaining as the first book in the series. I was delighted by Axel, who wasn't a typical paranormal being found in this genre. I admired the loyalty and trust portrayed by Donna and Axel. I liked the historical twist. There was some steam in this tale. I thought Jacqueline Rendell's narration was good, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was gifted a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which included my honest opinions regarding this story.

A love through the ages

I love this series and the way this story started off, giving us an insight into Donna and Axel’s lives.
This is book two of the Legacy Witches of Shadow Cove and follows the growing relationship between Donna and Axel that started to form in book one.
Donna’s sister Bella however can’t seem to trust Axel anymore and tries to interfere.
With evil on their doorstep will Bella and Donna, the demon and the fury be able to come together to solve who / what is attacking them and save themselves?
Will Donna and Axel realise who they are to each other?
Danger, violence, old enemies, bargains struck and growing relationships for the two sisters made this a wonderful story that I loved and thoroughly enjoyed.
I also loved the narration, Jacqueline Rendell is a pleasure to listen to and has the perfect voice for all of Jennifer’s stories.

Loved it

Jennifer L. Hart has written a great follow-up storyline for the second installment in the Legacy Witches of Shadow Cove series. It didn’t seem possible but it was even better than the first in this wonderful new series.
Jacqueline Rendell, as always gave a stellar performance as she breathed life into the story and gave each character their own distinct voice.
I look forward to the next installment.
