sweet couple

it is rare to read 2 older protagonists, while he was her boss she was his professor, creating an interesting power dynamic. He was a widower, she had medical conditions. At the end of the day they had each other.

Light hearted easy read!

This was a quick, cute read. Loved both MCs! Not too much angst or drama, just a well told love story. Looking forward to more from this author!

Very good book!!

The only annoying this is hate when authors want to show how independent female characters are and how they are offended by being taking care of to the point of throwing a tantrum. Other than that moment loved the maturity of this read. It was worth the credit.

Heartwarming and Delightful

This was such a cozy and cute read. I truly enjoyed the slow but steady burn between the main characters. Definitely worth the read or listen.

Super cute with the right amount of sexy!

I really enjoyed this story! the author and narrator are a winning combo. I have chronic health conditions and it felt good to be able to the FL. I can't wait to read other stories by this author.

Enjoyed the story. Romantic, sexy and sweet. Touched many topics without sounding obnoxious. Narration was very good too.

Got me giggling and kicking my feet!

This was my first time reading a Charish Reid novel and I am blown away! The pacing was great. The characters were all so lovable. Mickey is just a ray of sunshine and Diego was so smitten and adorable. Also, the romance was top tier! I did enjoy the narration but I took one star away because some parts needed a little bit more emotion? But literally this was SO GOOD!

A perfect palete cleanser

I mowed right through this book. The characters are all charming & I like the setting as well. What I really love is that the characters have a mutual attraction that they don't try to hide, they're just trying to resist until the timing is better. It's refreshing to see characters in a romance flirt openly instead of dancing around the issue.

A really great listen

I enjoy this book. Well written. Realistic and entertaining. The characters were interesting and their personalities were a good fit for each other. I also thought the bar felt authentic.
