About this listen

Alien meets Jurassic Park in this fast-paced science fiction thriller.

When an ill-fated NASA project causes an extrasolar meteor to hit a small Pacific island, people rush to blame the agency for a mysterious death on the island. Under social media pressure, NASA sends David Anderson to the island to investigate the death and vindicate the agency.

But Anderson is not the only newcomer to the island.

More people are dying. Anderson and his team must figure out what is killing everyone before they, too, become victims. But how do you stop a killing machine that keeps evolving?

Interesting take on a “alien invasion”

I can see Hollywood turning this into a movie. As a matter of fact, this is similar to a couple of alien movies already out there. I found this enjoyable, and interesting the way the alien life evolved. The ending was very Hollywood like lol.

Makes you think...

Makes you wonder what gets missed by people assuming things and what gets hidden from the public.

Not what you would expect!

I liked it! Makes me afraid of meteors though! The narration was not as ominous as the storyline. Which was kinda cool because it was a nice juxtaposition!

Yes! This is perfect Sci-Fi

Want a new fix? Meteor does it! Captivating fluid plot with unexpected outcomes- I hope there is a sequel. Tempo escalates smoothly and still manages to end with a bang! Fun listen- highly recommend!

Not what I was expecting

Lose/lose situation, that was mildly entertaining for the price (free). Too much of an attempt to discuss “the science” and not enough character development. Of course nobody lived long enough to have much time for that anyway. Good thing, kept me from getting attached before they all bit the dust. Just a quick question…….how do these blood suckers survive on an asteroid in deep space prior to entering our food rich planet? And how will they survive once they’ve killed us all off? Terrifying outcome, but too many holes the the story line. I’d feel cheated if I’d paid for it, but on the other hand some of these shorter books have a place.

what a great sci-fi horror!

I really enjoyed this story. it is a pleasure to see a good sci-fi horror that didn't have zombies or dragons or other such nonsense. a most excellent listen!
