Struggling

I've tried to listen to this once but couldn't get past the first page due to 2 main reasons. Firstly the narrator's voice doesn't match the character and has no interesting inflection - too posh, secondly, the words are way too long. I'm a uni student and would still need to use a dictionary, so that doesn't jibe well either. No initial hook, its like a text book not the story of someone's life. Very boring. Will try again later.
