About this listen

Imagine being able to rid yourself of a host of medical or psychological maladies without medication or psychotherapy. You can - with non-invasive medical meditation. It's proven effective and one of the most overlooked forms of therapy available today.

Backed by scientific research and presented by Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa and Cameron Stauth, best selling authors of Brain Longevity and The Pain Cure, medical meditation ultilzes an array of remarkable techniques that revolutionize how doctors and paitents approach the healing process. Each medical meditation has a specific physiological effect, targeting afflictions from arthritis to ulcers to cancer. The clinical precision of this method is extraordinary, yet the meditations are surprisingly simple and can be done on your own, at home, at your own pace. Practiced in conjunction with conventional or alternative medical treatments, medical meditation activates the healing force within you.

Wonderful!

This audio book was so inspirational that I also bought the book as a visual reference. This audio includes both a lecture and four actual meditations. I would highly recommend this book if you want to change your life.

Insightfully Helpful Without All the Glamour

This book is nothing more or nothing less than it says it is: Meditation as Medicine. It's very insightful while not being laced with all kinds of catch phrases or unnecessary enchantments. Dr Dharma Singh Khalsa simply explains his theories and states his case for using meditation as a form or healing and provides useful knowledge behind his theories and practices. He shares his personal story, but doesn't let it overshadow the intent which is to guide to a point of understanding about the usefulness of consious breathing and meditation. Unlike other mainstream writers of this type of genre, the listner isn't enticed to become a fan or follower of Dr Dharma, but is gently encouraged to consider mediation as a alternative and supplement to modern medicine.

such a great book

great help and inspiration. I have listened to it at least 4 times and everytime suggests something new and useful. It has helped me to discover the power of breathing which has opened my brain and helped me to become more lucid, planning better, being more in control. I cannot use it enough and I would like to give it to everyone that can understand english, not only sick people, but to all of them who are striving to improve themselves towards a higher goal.

Healing and Full of Hope

Love the audio after having read the book a few times. The science and magic combine to being real hope for healing the mind and body. This is probably my third or fourth time listening, and I love it every time.

My Sādhanā, my daily practice

I flirted with this book for about six years, but until I committed to daily morning meditation, I’ve only recently begun to unlock the powers of this book. I am forever appreciative of the lessons from this book. Thank you so much for sharing!

Underappreciated

This is the difinitive material on a very very under rated and misunderstood area of human function. Any business person who is interested in their performance is negligent if they do not investigate this information which, if practiced for just a week, has in my experience produced nothing short of drug-like results.

Need more tracks to "use" meditations for healing

The first 3/4 of the book describing author's philosophy and history of using meditation for healing drags, but the last section of actual meditations is excellent to use as a healing plan. I have been listening to 1 or more of the 4 meditations daily and have seen an improvement in my health in only a couple of weeks of using it. The only draw back is that the entire section of meditations is a single track making it very difficult to go back to each meditation to use it daily.
