Excellent premise but very difficult to follow

I really wanted to love this book but it just doesn't work being a narrative. During a song the narrator would simply say the chords or the fingering of the song at a pretty fast pace with no visual guides. Maybe the version I got didn't support page flipping but simply hearing a bunch of letters and numbers just didn't help me. Again I am only rating the book as a narrative, I am positive a hard copy would be much much better.

so bad it's almost worth buying for entertainment

Oh where to begin?

- the information is all over the place switching between writing that seems to be aimed at a 3-year old and writing aimed at a music expert (e.g. one one hand they explain notes as though to someone who has never heard of them, on the other hand it recommend using a guitar to help you tune your Uke)
- the person reading seems to have never given the text a read-through before recording himself resulting in him occasionally stumbling over words or pausing in the wrong places making it hard to follow
- after two weeks of playing the ukulele and spending a lot of time in online resources such as YouTube and blogs I disagree with some of the information in this book but then again in not an expert so I can't definitely debunk any of the information
