In the spirit of the popular Fancy Nancy series, Marvelous Maxx and the Bumblebee is an 800-word book for four-to-eight year olds. John Higgins is a Harvard-trained cardiologist, who teaches medical students and students from pre-k to seniors. He has been on television and radio 700 times and won the annual dean's teaching award eight times. His teaching experience has given him experience in the way children think and the stories they love. Catherine Higgins graduated from Peking University and is a successful trading analyst. They wrote Marvelous Maxx to help young boys grow their vocabulary and gain practical first-aid skills.

AMAZING-MY DAUGHTER LEARNED SO MUCH FROM THIS!!!
Marvelous!!! Not only did my 6-year old daughter enjoy this story - she especially loves Dr Z. and now wants to be a Doctor when she grows up - but she learned a bunch of new words e.g. Exhausted – totally tired out, Gigantic- super-sized; and some great first aid facts: if you hear a bumblebee buzzing around, freeze like a statue. The next amazing thing was the next day, my daughter started using these words - "Mommy, your dress is gorgeou," & "That office building is gigantic." Amazing!!! We already downloaded the other one (Marvelous Maxx and the Stuck-Up Popcorn) and my daughter and I can't wait for the other Marvelous Maxx adventures to come out :)
