Narrator

The Narrator doesn’t seem to be able to make smooth transitions when talking the male parts. overall a great story with love, laughs and tears

Cute story really bad voice acting

The story is really cute. I haven’t read a story by Callie Hutton that I haven’t liked. The voice acting especially for the male is so bad. It was cringe worthy at some points. Nash is only 30 and the voice actor makes him sound like he is in his 70’s while Arabella sounds like she is 16. The love scenes were disturbing. Then some of the way the lines were read were so off. Example: they are being intimate and it was read like they were having tea talking about the weather. Honestly, I wish I just read it physically. The only kudos is that I could tell the characters apart. That is the only reason I gave it a 2.

Fun Light Romance

This is a fun light romance that was witty and amusing. It is the first time to hear any of the author work but I am already looking forward to the next book
The narrator did a good enough job

Good story

I enjoyed the characters and I love this author’s work. I do not love this narrator. Her interpretation of the Earl made him sound like he was 90…

Light hearted romp

A wonderful rendition of the eternal fight of some women to be appreciated for what they are, and the struggle not to confirm society"s warped dehumanizing restrictions.

Not great

The heroine is horribly childish and difficult and completely unlikable

The narrator is not good.

The hero is the most patient man and there are entertaining and funny moments. I would have enjoyed the book with a better narrator and a more mature heroine.

Boring

I did not care for this book. I found it to be boring. The heroin was dull, she nursed animals back to health. The hero was almost broke and he needed to marry someone with money.

Couldn’t Finish

Couldn’t finish this due to the poor narration. She read as though she has trouble reading.

Not good

I’m not sure if it was the terrible
Narration or just a bad story line, but the female lead was childish and unlikable. I’ve listened to other books from this author and don’t remember them being this bad…

The narrator is the WORST!!

The narrator COMPLETELY ruined this book, not that it was all that great of a book, but she made it 10x worse. She literally sounded like a robot and half the time she read like she just learned how to read with a staccato like reading. It just made me want to scream “JUST HURRY UP AND SAY THE DANG SENTENCES”; she spoke so slow in some places it was just nerve racking. She made me dislike this book immensely. And, don’t even get me started on her male voices that make, what I assume were supposed to be young men, sound like they are about 80yrs old or just very effeminate. UGH...I just can’t with her, I will NEVER listen to anything else she narrates.
