Monica and Hugo are married now. But is everyone happy for them? I have come to the conclusion that I don't really like Monica. Here she is: she joined a sugarcane site. found a man that wants to marry her and take care of her father. He IS doing his part. but all she is doing is being wishy-washy. All I can say is Hugo is putting up with a lot.
the book is written in first person from Monica's Pov. Wish we could hear Hugo's POV
