A Wonderful Read, as Always

As with all the other Melissa Brayden books in my Audible library (namely, every one available on the platform), I really loved this story. That said, it's taken me longer to finish her new releases lately, between work, family. friends, and numerous personal interests and shiny red play buttons online. Picking it up after a few months away, I kinda came to a realization of sorts, something I enjoy about these books more than all the romance and relatable characters and real scenarios. What I really love are the times when the soul, or heart, puts its foot down for a character. When despite all denial and justification and excuses, the characters finally break down and give in to their truth. So, here's the same can happen for every one of us at some point, as grand and optimistic an idea as that may be.

Loved the story

Really loved this story. It was poignant, coming to terms with life’s choices, and personal growth. The chemistry between Meghan and Allison was off the charts. The plot development was spot on. The narrator was excellent!

A Favorite

Marty Me is one of my very very favorites. I’ve listened to this audible many times and never been disappointed.

Narration perfect. Use the credit you won’t regret it.

wanted to love this

The story line was good but the dialogue/ writing was really lacking. also the narrator sounded like a nasal robot.

easy listen

The plot had a twist that I kinda didn't see coming. if this was reality it wouldn't have ended so nicely. Nice easy listening for around the house or car.

Great until…

First off I have to say Melissa Sternenberg is fantastic!! I love her as a narrator and she was extra perfect here.
I was really loving this book until there was about 2 hours left. I hated the direction the story went. It was unoriginal and easy and I really wanted Melissa Brayden to NOT go there. But she did. Disappointing and a little irksome for me.
The story wraps up nicely and if not for that hour or so close to the end, I would have given it 5 stars. Overall I enjoyed the characters and the story. The writing is good, too. No regrets on the purchase and would still recommend the book.

Yummy

I loved it. I will listen again and again. Aurora always makes the characters jump out and drag you along with their emotional adventures.

Definitely worth a credit!

This book has it all! I loved the MC's, especially Ally. They both grew throughout the book. Has a good story line. The chemistry and love between MC's can be felt deep. The sex scenes are perfect, none of that fade to black crap. I did get frustrated with the lack of communication between MC's at times and wanted to smack them upside the head. The book made me happy, sad, laugh, cry, made me angry and also turned me on. Definitely recommend this book. Also the narrator did a great job too!

Name mixup

The amount of times the narrator said the wrong name was pretty distracting but the rest was good

A good listen!

I was a little hesitant to start this book, but it turned out to be a good listen! The performance was great like always!
