"Paranormal romance at its best!" (Cynthia Eden)

Wonderful series!

I absolutely loved everything about this series of books. I was hooked from the very first book and could not stop.... Everything was great from the storyline to the narrator ..,,she did a wonderful job ,I love listening to her. I hate that this series is done I just hope there is more to come,with the story of the little girl ...Hope.

A great ending to an awesome series

I so loved the last book in the Dark protectors series. Rebecca Zanetti totally out did herself. I love every minute of the book and so hated each time really life interrupted me and I had to stop listening.

This last book brought the whole series together and it was a great end to an awesome series. There were so many twist and turns that it's hard to write a review without giving anything away. I screamed WHY when I found out what Zane was other than a vampire but then RZ brought all back to good again.

I love the fact that we got to meet more of Zane's family, but was sad that Jase didn't have a bigger part in the book. Especially after everything that Suri put him through, I was really hoping for a confrontation between the two of them.

Rebecca did something that I never thought was capable of me to do...I learned to like Kalin...LOL :)

Zane and Belle's love story has been told over every book in the series and even though I'm sad the series has come to an end I loved how their story played out. This book made me feel every emotion I think possible. The climax at the end was just perfect and I was happy that everything worked out the way it did.

I highly recommend this series to anybody who loves a paranormal romance and look forward to the new series based off this one. I just hope we get both Zane's brothers stories and more of Zane and Belle in all future books.

Great end to a great series

This was well done. I laughed .. I cried and most of all I enjoyed. I felt there was enough for another book, as the end seemed rushed. But overall I truly enjoyed this series.

Sizzling romance

This is an action packed sizzling romance. I enjoy move Ms. Zannetti’s Books very much and this one was no exception. I’m looking forward to the next one. The narration was, as always, exceptional. Thanks for another great book

Hated for it to end!

I just started the series and love it. This book felt like and a new beginning. Rebecca Zanetti wrapped up this first phase of the Dark Warrior’s series almost perfectly. Only almost because I would have liked to get a better glimpse into the shifters, but maybe the kids will show up in the next phase.

Highly recommend this series but start at the beginning.

Janie is an amazing young women, loved reading about her growing up and now finally her story! Suspense, love, battle, what more could you ask for

Marked - Good but…

Loved the series and am glad everyone got their HEA, but at times it was very frustrating. Such as Kane being the smartest on the planet but it was Emma who finally figured out the cure. All those hours and years in the lab and they never came up with anything. That was disappointing. Being all about the war and strategy I would have thought that at least they could have developed some sort of helmet to protect against the mind control from the Demons. It just seemed that for being the smartest people on the planet they didn’t advance in all those years. With that said, even though I did like the series I’m not sure if I will continue the second part of the series. I was also disappointed that we didn’t get an update on the demon Nick. I would have liked to have an update on Maggie to.

HUGE twists, turns and surprises here with plenty

Spanning the time since we first met Janie, it’s been 20+ years, and she’s always been at the center of the action. The “Chosen One”, her psychic abilities and her dream walking have been a constant winding thread through all of the stories. Years ago Janie made a friend, her BEST friend, Zane. She’d talk to him, tell him things that she shared with no one else, and somewhere in her mind, had determined she loved him. But Zane is not the innocent and protective boy we first met, and he did,in fact, try to warn her off repeatedly.

But Zane is not the only person that Janie spent time with during her dream walking. Kalin is a Kurjan, purported heir. A bit of a psychopath, more than a little unhinged and spoilt, he’s got ‘plans’ for Janie. But, the one outstanding feature in this story is Janie’s belief that she can (and will) keep everyone she loves safe and end the war.

HUGE twists, turns and surprises here with plenty of action and several on the edge of my seat moments where everyone’s happiness, let alone life and love, is in danger. Secrets all come out of the closet in this – some I didn’t even know were secrets! Every faction has their own version of how things will end, most conflict although those that do come “true” have some serious kinks in the works that no one expected. A wonderful wrap up to an epically engaging series.

Karen White has provided the narration for this series, and the continuity did help this series as a listener. Her ability to maintain character voices, delivery, accent and tone, as well as appropriately age Janie from young girl to young woman, gives listeners an instant reference that brings each character to mind. Throughout the series, White has nailed each emotional moment, taking her time to deliver the punch without overdramatizing or adding elements that would be too much. Dialogue, action and even silence are delivered to put the words on the page front and center, allowing listeners to disappear into the world where they can visualize and feel every moment. You’d be hard pressed to find a better narrative performance for a series than White. Having experienced her work in other genres, I know that she is certainly a must listen for me. In what had to be a formidable project, there were no moments that distracted, the listen was easy and the performance felt effortless, a great trick. This is a favorite series of mine, and one that will get lots of “relistens” when I want to escape and just enjoy.
