Jibber Jabber
At first I thought it was the narrator’s fault, then I realized she was just trying to make all the jibber jabber more interesting.
And it was hours of jibber jabber....
Now, there WAS some activity interspersed within those hours, but not enough to read anymore of the series. So sad.

I didn't enjoy the narrator. The story line was just ok. It may have been better if I had not concentrated on the voice and expected rise in octave of the narrator.

Great twist!!!
Very good book. The characters were well written and I was sad when it was over. This book was recommended on a list I saw, so I downloaded it. Definitely worth it!!! My only complaint is the narrator sounded a little odd almost like a computer generated voice. It’s worth your time and credit!!!

Exciting
Wow! What a ride! So many plot twists, but I never saw the final twist coming. The characters were well developed, and I like them so well, I am going to buy more books in the series.

Robotic
The story line was interesting but not riveting. Actually, if you pay attention to the narrator, you can figure out who the stalker is pretty early on. The author does not go into much detail through the story. Really, only enough detail to get the point across.
The narrator, just bad. ALL the male voices sound exactly the same and there is only slight variation in the female voices. Overall, especially early on, it seems like Siri is reading it.

Simplistic
The narrator has a cadence that kept me more focused on her irritating rhythm than the story. I kept listening though thinking the book was going to carry me into the story and I would forget about the narration...but I was disappointed. The premise of Malevolent has potential but it is written in a predictable, junior high level.

Psychological thriller
Creepy, suspenseful thriller. Twist, turns shrouded in mystery. Was surprised on the evil doer. Didn't even suspect. The narrator was top notch for me. Can't wait to read book two (or listen) in this series.

Story was superb!!! Nice surprise ending!!!
Excellent listen!! Ending was a total surprise!! I highly recommend this book!!! My only complaint is the narrator is somewhat annoying & mechanical. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it!!!

Great story... not so good narration
really enjoyed the audio book’s storyline but I really did not like the narrators voice. I was hoping it would be a little more “New Orleans-ish” But instead it was a voice like Hillary from the fresh Prince of Bel Air. Very nasally and super irritating. I think I’ll be reading them from now on.
