This is a guide to the Indian Dravidian/Tamil language of Malayam as spoken by the Malayi people in Kerala, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry by an estimated 35 million people as one of the scheduled languages of India. The guide is aimed at school-age learners of the language and builds understanding of commonly used words and phrases. The course is split into 28 daily sessions, with additional review content. Games and activities are included to improve learning, with an emphasis on comprehension and pronunciation. Adults listening along will learn something too.
