Dying the first time sucked. Matt's trying to avoid a repeat performance. For Matt, joining Earth's last line of defense was exactly the purpose he needed. Saving the world could be fun—if you don’t mind a little soul-crushing responsibility. But being killed and reincarnated into the battlefield chaos of a 4x game world wasn't what he had in mind. The world map is made out of hexagrams, the units are semi-sentient and his opponents have a head start. As if that wasn't enough, there's no instruction manual for this nightmare.

My master created me for his entertainment, leading adventurers to ruin. Betraying them at the last moment, just when their glorious victory was on hand. I have been found again by the newest member of a quartet of dungeon crawlers. Poor fool. This time will be no different. Or does it have to be? waiting for more
:D overall definitely happy with the short addition to the story. These shorts are easy to get into while waiting and definitely are worth it. Recommended for short trips driving or flights. the story is still good and is progressing properly so nothing to change there. I'd like to see the top of the gold pyramid he's building. Units produced every turn building ques always full and research ticking away etc etc. keep it up Mr.Wong.
