Loving Romeo is book one in the Magnolia series and it did not disappoint! I absolutely loved the story of Romeo and Demi!

These narrators brought this story to life!!

Loving Romeo by Laura Pavlov is the first in her Magnolia Falls series. I listened to the audio and I highly suggest if you get the chance to do so - do it. Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais brought these characters to life. Also - Samantha is the queen of male POVs.

This is an opposites attract, different sides of the track, MMA, enemies to friends to lovers romance. Demi is Magnolia Falls royalty as they say and Romeo is kid with a past we learn about in the story who owns his one MMA gym. The found family vibe of these characters is so fun and refreshing. Both characters go through the “it’s not always what it seems” moments.

When these two finally get together it is magical and hot!! Loved when his buddies were basically like “we see how you look at her.”

The sports aspect and MMA fighting was so fun to read. I haven’t read many MMA romances and I really enjoyed this.

This book had me smiling, blushing, tearing up and turning the “page” to find out what happens next. Also - can we talk about Beefcake!?!? Obsessed!!!

I highly recommend this book especially the audio!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Laura Pavlov’s books. She has this incredible way of making you feel like you know these characters in real life. They are so relatable and fun and I love her writing so much; but what I love even more are her audios. She picks the best narrators possible to narrate her stories. I could listen to them all day long. Every time she writes a new series I just fall in love with these characters over and over again!

I laughed, squealed and couldn’t stop listening.

Romeo and Demi had a Gorgeous Story!

Loving Romeo is the first book in Laura Pavlov’s new series, Magnolia Falls. I highly recommend the audiobook. Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor did a fantastic job narrating Romeo and Demi. They worked well together bringing Laura Pavlov’s story alive. This story is a: Grumpy Sunshine, Small Town, Sports (Boxer), Enemies to Lovers, Opposites Attracts, Found Family, and No 3rd Act Break Up.

The hero is from the wrong side from the of the tracks, and the heroine is a good girl. Romeo Knight rightfully loathes Demi Crawford’s family and by extension, Demi herself. Demi is sunshine and did not understand why Romeo didn’t like her. Her cafe was next to Romeo’s boxing gym. As he begins to train for a fight, Demi’s brother hurts her. A person from Demi’s past won’t leave her alone. Romeo protects Demi, and she helps Romeo train by helping him with his nutrition. Romeo helps her with self-defense. They grow closer, which the pacing is perfect. Demi shares her truths and Romeo shares his truths, which brings them closer together.

There are a few Rocky references, which was a lot of fun. The romance was gorgeously written as Romeo and Demi grew personally and as a couple. I loved the found family that Romeo had, which accepted Demi into their family. There wasn’t a lot showing with Romeo as boxer other than a lot of training as he was considered the underdog until the end of the book, which was pretty epic. There were parts where Romeo physically defended Demi that I did enjoyed Prior to the fight. I loved the small suspense plot at the end of the book. There was nothing I like could nitpick about this book. It’s such gorgeous story

This was my first book my Laura Pavlov. She has a new fan! I didn't know what I have been missing. I absolutely loved this story. If you love books with enemies to lovers and hot Boxers. This one's for you. Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais narrated and they are wonderful together. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

This book hit me with a one, two punch!

This author is relatively new to me. I’m still working my way through her many books. This book though, maybe in my top 5 reads this year!

I love the worlds this author creates and makes me not only love the characters, but makes me feel like I’m part of the gang. Romeo and Harley were no different! The banter was phenomenal and when they fell it was epic.

I can’t wait for the next book!

ADORING this Romeo

No one writes small town magic like the queen Laura Pavlovl! Effortlessly romantic, beautifully heartfelt, and tenderly told, Loving Romeo is everything that makes Laura Pavlov so charming. Brimming with layered chemistry, a found family band of brothers that you can’t help but fall for, and another perfectly adorable small town setting, this story is so EASY to love. A fantastic start to what I know will be the next series to steal my heart!

I was so wildly in love with her last series that I was anxious anticipating her new Magnolia Falls world. Straight away I could tell we have an anchoring group of heroes that I’m going to obsess over, but who are also a bit more rough around the edges than some prior Pavlovl men. They’ve had a harder life, aren’t scared to get into a scuffle, and have a bit more grit. But at the core they’re still the Pavlov heroes we love- loyal, passionate, protective, charming, authentic, and sincere. And they sure can fall HARD- or at least our Romeo.

ROMEO ROMEO WHERE FOR ART THOU? SWOON. I loved Romeo and Demi together. The good-girl/bad girl vibe is my catnip, and from their first coffee house meet cute I was addicted to them. Romeo wasn’t exactly endearing at the start. A man with a bit of his chip on his shoulder and a lot of walls. But Demi broke through every one- and we soon learn that both are not as they seem. With miles of baggage, secrets, and festered wounds, they both have a lot to work through. But their sweet connection and the vulnerability and emotional safety they find each other allows them to heal, to find strength and conviction.

Their chemistry is really sweet. Romeo is alpha and proactive and ridiculously swoony once he falls, and Demi is a magnificently charming bleeding heart. The heat between them, the tension, all unfold beautifully…until something more substantial and meaningful emerges. They fall fast (it did feel a bit instalove), but Laura ensures the connection is steady and layered. They may seem like opposites on the surface, but their souls are perfectly matched. They both bring out the best in one another. Help the other mature, let go, and move forward. This story has some heavier topics and experiences that weigh on them both- both past and present, and Laura doesn’t shy away from the grit of those moments. But we also still have a lot of feel-good lightness, both in Demi and Romeo’s romance and in perhaps the most epically bromantic group chat of all time. All of the characters fit together so seamlessly- I love the real care and respect, not just between Demi and Romeo but also in our ride or die brothers. I’m desperate for more of their stories!

Loving Romeo is a showstopper of series starter! The charm, the tension, the banter, the heart- ALL in my feels! I’m already ride or die for this series!

Connor and Samantha brought this book so beautifully to live- I actually enjoyed the audio listen even more than reading the book!

Ahhh. Demi and Romeo!!! This was so good, so so so good - Grumpy sunshine goodness. Laura just doesn’t miss. I absolutely loved the story and side characters too. Highly recommend.

Beautiful story with fabulous narration

Laura kicks off her new Magnolia Falls Series in the best way with Loving Romeo. These two characters will capture your heart. Romeo and Demi are a bit opposites attract, enemies to lovers but end up with the most beautiful love story. The banter and amazing dialogue between Romeo and Demi will have you laughing, swooning and never wanting their story to end. Two amazing, strong and determined characters that start out hating each other and become one another’s number one cheerleader, protector and confidant. Amazing!!! Looking forward to the other amazing stories in this series! Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais deliver an amazing performance. They bring the characters to life with their amazing voices. Narrators give readers/listeners a whole new experience to enjoying an author’s words. Samantha Brentmoor is a one click narrator for me. Her voice is so amazing and brings perfect emotion, voice and personality to the characters. Connor Crais a newer to me narrator but I love the strength and depth of his voice. He also gave the characters perfect emotion, personality and voice.
