Acerca de esta escucha

Loving Life demonstrates that morality is not a matter of divine revelation nor social convention nor personal opinion but a matter of the factual requirements of human life and personal happiness. Biddle shows how a true morality is derived logically from observable facts, what in essence such a morality demands, and why it is a matter of pure self-interest.

The author provides an understandable explanation to Ayn Rand concepts that can sometimes be difficult to grasp when reading her non fiction.

great summary of objectivism

This has to be one of the most important books in my library, and to now have it on Audible is (quite literally) a dream come true. The premise behind the book — that a rational morality is not only possible, but provable; and that living by such a morality is precisely how you craft an extraordinary life — is something the world needs to hear.

I can see how the Audible version would make for the perfect introduction to the subject of a rational morality; but honestly, even for me — and I've probably read the book 5X straight through and revisited favorite parts 100X or more — it's perfectly wonderful being able to listen to the material. You just get something different from an Audible experience. A book of ideas is rarely riveting. Listening to THIS book is riveting.

And the performance is so fantastic, it makes the book incredibly easy to listen to with full focus. (And you DO want to listen to this one with your attention on what's being said. It's incredibly accessible, but it's not the kind of book you listen to when you're half occupied with other stuff. You're going to want to hear every word of this one.)

SO Wish I Had Read (or Heard) This 20 Years Ago

This easily understood book outlines the key values and virtues needed for a wonderful, productive, and successful life.

A guide book to a great life.

This is an excellently written and life changing book whether reading or listening. It makes sense of a dualistic world.
