"Love is both the supreme mystery and greatest power in the universe," reflect Andrew Harvey and Marianne Williamson. With Love's Manifesto, Williamson and Harvey join forces to explore the nature of universal love, to help us discover it within ourselves and encourage it in others. In alternating sessions, these two luminary teachers first show us how to heal the wounds of the past and nurture self-compassion at the felt level of the body. From this foundation, we learn how this sacred force awakens our creativity, clarity of vision, and empathy - to enrich our relationships, invite inner and outer abundance, and create a shift in the world. Rumi wrote: "Each moment, from all sides, rushes to us the call of love." But humanity today impels us toward fear, tribalism, aggression, and fundamentalism. So what can we do? "We ground ourselves in the very real experience of universal love, and then express it through compassion and justice. "Filled with a wealth of meditations, prayers, practices, and insights, Love's Manifesto shows us how to shift into this new paradigm, experience love fully in all its forms, and become co-creators at the side of the divine.

Much Needed Guidelines for Skillful Living
Where does Love's Manifesto rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of the most helpful and important books I've encountered.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Love's Manifesto?
The 4 principles for living : 1. Abad (sp?). Extend respect and blessings to every being at every encounter. 2. Right livelihood. Serve the planet in your work; never work at a job or career that subjugates, oppresses, or destroys the planet or its creatures. 3. Shine. Express your creativity. 4. Simplicity and gratitude. Cultivate a sane relationship with money. Live simply, feel gratitude for what you have (and what money can't buy) and give as generously as you can to help those who are doing important work to save the planet.
What does Andrew Harvey and Marianne Williamson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The emotion and honesty in their voices. I love Andrew Harvey. I feel so blessed to have discovered him through audible.com.
What did you learn from Love's Manifesto that you would use in your daily life?
The number one practice I will implement is to send love and blessings silently to every sentient being I encounter

WTH?!
What would have made Love's Manifesto better?
This would have been better without Andrew Harvey.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Where the hell do I start? I could not get beyond 10 minutes.
