About this listen

Graduating from college is supposed to come with a promise of excitement and limitless possibilities. But for unemployed Rebecca Stanton, the highlight of her day is sitting in her parents' home with a pint of Chunky Monkey while watching The Bachelor. Desperate for change and inspired by a late-night commercial, she stumbles onto a job opportunity with a new cruise line, packs her bags, and sets sail toward her new destiny.

Life is full of an endless supply of exciting possibilities for Marco Puglia. The tall, dark, handsome Italian cruise director with Sunset Cruise Lines is practically a celebrity in the cruising industry. When Marco adds Rebecca to his staff, he soon discovers it is both the best and worst decision he's ever made. The beautiful siren has captured his attention and ensnared his heart.

An intense attraction like theirs doesn't follow the rules, even one that forbids a boss-employee relationship. Will their blatant mutiny force their newly found love aground, or will Rebecca and Marco find love on their horizon?

My favorite audible of all time...so far.

While I loved this story, I can't say enough about the narrator. He rocked ALL the characters. His sexy Italian had me swooning and fanning myself. His funny gay assistant was perfection. Even the female part was amazing. No, I don't know this person, but I want him on every book I listen to. Sooooo impressed!

Love ain't all that happened on the Horizon…

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this latest masterpiece. I'm a big fan of the author's rockstar series, Back-Up, but taking a ride on the love boat was a new experience for me. What can I say? I loved it. I'm ready to book a cruise and see if I can find a tall Italian with a dazzling white smile, brown hair, brown eyes, and sexy scruff over a strong jaw. Oh, and of course he would also whisper to me in Italian. Even though I wouldn't have a clue what he was saying, that panty melting sexy accent would do the job. However; I did learn one word that I would recognize if he used it, Fanculo!

Rebecca had me laughing out loud almost immediately. Getting a front row seat inside her head was very entertaining. Especially when she saw Marco for the first time. Her internal monologue was hilarious. I really enjoyed her character, but I would be hard-pressed to decide who I liked better between her and Ricky. His character really stole the show for me. He is ah-may-zing!. I really, really, really hope that he gets his own book in the Breaking the Rules series.

Marco is the dreamy, delicious Cruise Director that stars in the fantasies of most of the women, and some of the men that set sail on the cruise ship, Horizon. He's determined to focus on making the maiden voyage of the newest ship in the Sunset Cruise Lines the best ever. All he has to do to make that happen is to avoid Rebecca Stanton. Being in the same room with her is too tempting. She raises all of his flags, and his pole, but he's not allowed to have a relationship with an employee that reports directly to him. So, he has his assistant, Ricky, show her the ropes. They hit it off and become BFF's. And even though Ricky knows all of the rules, that doesn't mean he always follows them. He's the mischievous meddler that stirs the pot of passion bubbling between Marco and Rebecca. How are they expected to resist the magnetic pull of their attraction when they are being encouraged to break the rules? How long will they be able to resist? And what will happen if they don't?

Get ready to find out if what they say about Italian tempers is true. Get ready to see if you can outrun your problems by leaving them on shore. Get ready to set sail on an emotional and passionate adventure. Get ready to experience love…on the Horizon…on the beach…on the bed, etc... Well, you get the idea, right? Ok, now that you're ready, CLICK .

Where can I book a ticket?

If you could sum up Love on the Horizon in three words, what would they be?

worth the fight

What other book might you compare Love on the Horizon to and why?

I can't think of any books that I can compare to Love on the Horizon.

What does Jim McCabe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He gave such a great job on Marco. I love the way he brought that sexy voice and accent to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I think that I came close to listening to it all in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

I love this book. Everyone should read it, and then listen to it. You won't be disappointed! Trust me....everyone needs a Marco in their life! *swoon*
