About this listen

When Theo Samuels heads off to film on location in the village of Stoneydale, he's expecting drama to take place on camera, not off. But when he meets gorgeous local lad Eddie Henderson, he struggles to ignore his attraction. A relationship between the two of them would be utterly impractical, yet they're drawn together nonetheless. Can they overcome the seemingly endless hurdles between them? Or is their fling destined to remain as just that?

Sweet and Spicy

A sweet and spicy romance. An actor falls for a local. Well written, spicy and touching. Narrator is fantastic.

A short, sweet story with wonderful narration

This a very short love story that can be read in about an hour, but with the narration, you'll wish it is so much longer! Joel Leslie's performance is consistently entertaining and engrossing. he puts the same amount of care, whether the story is long or short. Theo and Eddie were beautifully voiced (made me miss London and England *sniff*. The story was good, just wish it was longer, I would have liked to know more about both men ; but more importantly, I would have more time listening to Joel! ;)

Where there's a will, there's a way.

Theo is an actor on location and in the closet. Eddie is a local, also in the closet. They find a friendship that neither expected. I did feel bad for them not being able to be seen together to much or gossips would have a field day. It is a short story, but pleasant with a HEA.

A Sweet Short Story & Pleasant Listen

I've listened to a few of author Lucy Felthouse's M/M genre short stories and "Love on Location" ranks as a favorite. This low angst novella brings some humor, sweet moments and romantic charm to the story of closeted actor Theo and village local Eddie as they meet and fall in love on the set of Theo's latest film. This was a pleasant, easy listen, and narrator Joel Leslie - using British accents here - bumps up the enjoyment factor with another great performance.

I received this audiobook for free by request and provided this honest review voluntarily.

Sometimes things just work out

Sometimes things just happen to work out the way they are meant to whether people believe in fate or not sometimes things just fall into place. I enjoyed this book and the boys. A very realistic situation played out.
Joel was a great narrator also.

Short, sweet, but hot sex scenes.

I could listen to Joel Leslie read the phone book. This was a great book for listening to in an evening where I had other things I needed to do so I couldn't read. The story is only about 2 hours long but it kept my attention throughout.

Theo is an actor, who is not out, filming on location in the village of Stoneydale. Eddie Henderson is a local guy, also not out, who Theo falls for. A huge misunderstanding nearly derails their friendship but once that is put to rest the story really heats up. I was rooting for them to get their HEA and enjoyed how things played out in the story.

Short, but sweet!

I really enjoyed the development of Theo and Eddie's relationship. I believe I read it in an anthology previously and liked it, but the narration really increased my enjoyment. I'm going to sound like a broken record, but Joel Leslie's narration was really great. The range of his accents is amazing.
4 stars for this short, but sweet audio!

X-Rated Filming ?

If you could sum up Love on Location in three words, what would they be?

Daring, Romantic, Secrets

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love on Location?

I have to say the ending. I love when surprises sum things up.

Which scene was your favorite?

OMG when Theo and Eddie meet up in the guest cottage. Hot !!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Can gay actors make it on the big screen? I would say yes !

Any additional comments?

This was a steamy, well written book. Great story line, very entertaining. Joel is the perfect narrator for this kind of story. He brings the characters to life for me, I can picture them like I am watching it all happen. Can't wait to see what Lucy comes up with next. Hopefully she will keep Joel cause he's among the best.

I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for a fair review.
