They're also protecting their eight-year-old sister, Page, and will do anything to keep her safe. Zombies are a daily problem, constantly threatening the lives of their group, but they’re not the only peril on the journey ahead. Militia groups of power-hungry men are also a constant concern. And settlements of paranoid, suspicious people turn out to be just as hazardous.

Love and Decay, Volume One, is a compilation of the first six episodes in a 12-episode season. It's a dystopian romance novella series about zombies, the end of the world, and finding someone to share it with. This story takes place over multiple episodes.

Good listen!

I have been over the zombie thing for a while. But i thoroughly enjoyed this story! I was searching for Volume Two. But i see its not made it to audible yet. This was realistic but also clean enough to not traumatize anyone. I am usually into smut type of romance. So it was a nice change to find a normal series lol. I enjoyed it!

Finally on audible!

I first read this series as it was coming out in cereals on Kindle. I loved it then, and was ecstatic to see it as an audiobook. The characters are rich, complex, and nuanced. And the world is interesting and complex. The romance is a slow burn, but totally worth the wait!
I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be on audible!

great story

at first was a little leary about another zombie apocalypse. this book had some great humor at times so I kept listening , glad I did. I looked for the 2nd season but didn't find one. 😔

Awesome book

The narrator would not have been my first choice. she's ok, but the girls voices all sound the same and the boys all sound like a girl trying to imitate a guy.
As for the story itself, those who have been following the series since the beginning know how frustrating it's been getting the author to take our favorite characters seriously. She kinda stopped the series towards the end, left Miller hanging, to write crappy adult novels so it while the first few books are amazing, they're something of a lark. The end kinda sizzles out in tiny books just written to complete the series & get us off her back. This is evident in the way you'll see Audibles for those badly written adult novels but this is the only one for the extensive Love and Decay series.

More a YA love story than a SHTF story.

MC is a 20 yr old girl lamenting over men more than zombies. Great story on young love and sexuality but not so much a good tale of the apocalypse.
