About this listen

Prepare for heart-racing suspense in this original collection by 30 of the hottest best-selling authors and new voices writing romance suspense today.

Go on vacation with Allison Brennan’s Lucy Kincaid, where she saves a man from drowning, only to discover he is in far greater danger on land. Meet Roxanne St. Claire’s “bullet catcher” - bodyguard Donovan Rush - who may have met his match in the sexually charged “Diamond Drop”. Debut author William Simon shows us what happens when the granddaughter of the president of the United States is kidnapped. And Lee Child’s pitch-perfect “I Heard a Romantic Story” puts a whole new spin on Love Is Murder.

With bodyguards, vigilantes, stalkers, serial killers, women (and men!) in jeopardy, cops, thieves, private investigators, and killers, these all-new stories will keep you thrilled and chilled late into the night.

Great Collection

Another wonderful collection of thriller short stories. I loved that many had strong female leads. Fun to listen to one a day or make a marathon of the entire book!

Fabulous writing AND narration ~ Loved every story

Would you listen to Thriller 3: Love Is Murder again? Why?

Yes I WILL listen to it again! Every story was compelling ~ they ranged from really good, to GREAT. I couldn't stop listening, and some of the stories were shorts from favorite series like the Bullet Catchers & Lucy Kincaid, and some were new to me like Mercy Gundersen (which I've bought now)...and some were from authors I'd never heard of, and some from authors I'd have never tried. But I enjoyed every single story!

What other book might you compare Thriller 3: Love Is Murder to and why?

Like I said above, some of the shorts are form series, so of course you could compare them to those ~ there was a Mercy Street from Mariah Stewart, Roxanne St. Claire's Bullet Catchers, Allison Brennan's Lucy Kincaid series...so many I recognized and I'm sure many others didn't.

What does Christopher Lane and Shannon McManus bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They adapted to each and EVERY story...they BECAME the characters. I never thought I'd listen to Daniel Silva or a Dale Brown, but I think I will just because I enjoyed Christopher Lane's narration THAT much. I wish Shannon McManus had more! I hope she continues to narrate, I enjoyed her very much!

Who was the most memorable character of Thriller 3: Love Is Murder and why?

The story of the Xerox machine. And right this second I couldn't tell you who it was by ~ as much as I loved some of those story, this story was a twist of fate, be careful what you wish for story, and just tugged on my heart.

Any additional comments?

I loved Sandra Brown's comments before each story ~ they totally added to the overall effect of the book. I'm just floored how much I enjoyed this! I have the book, too, can't wait to start paging through and rereading stories I loved!
