About this listen

Tessa wants Beth back but when she goes out to get her she realizes it's too little too late. Beth has found someone else - an ex of her own - and it's hard to know if it is real or if it's just to spite Tess.

Raymond has a girlfriend now, too, and suddenly Tessa realizes that she's completely alone. It's the one thing she's feared all her life, and it's happening. Her worst nightmare is coming true.

The only friend she can turn to is Vince and his advice is stellar. Tessa is determined to follow it, until she messes up the last relationship she has. She now truly has nothing left, and she has to figure out a way to exist on her own and fix what she broke.

It takes a long time for her to realize where she stands in life, and what she wants. The only way to really become who she wants to be is to let go. Tessa lets go of everyone she loves. Everything that's important to her. Because if you let something you love go, and that love is true, it will come back to you. Right?

Best of the Series

In a series that moved at a snail's pace and contained more back and forth than a political campaign the finale hit all the right notes, touched all the bases, fill in the metaphor. Tess finally focuses on herself as both the problem and the solution to the confusion in her life. Though most of the issues are alluded to in this book it would still be helpful to listen to at least the book 1 in this series.

Not Close Enough

This selection could only be described as being a reason to jump! The story was not even lukewarm. A "who am I going to choose" with not enough interest or energy to really for the listener to really care the outcome. This will be a very appropriate selection if you are needing to listen to something to cure your insomnia. Fell asleep waiting for its ending. This is one which will bring the listener to the edge alright, do yourself a favor and jump! It will end your misery.
