Very good story, I really liked the relationship between this couple. They both have issues and when they are together those issues don't matter. I loved their love for each other, it was sweet and sexy too. The character growth was perfect and the build up for book 2 was also great.

The narration was good.

So very good, highly recommended.

I loved the book, so I knew that I would love this audible as well, which I did, it's highly entertaining, the audible gave it extra depth, it was a perfect way to spend a couple of afternoons,
Michael Pauley was once again excellent he work these characters, plus his take on all of the other characters is truly amazing the book came alive with him,. Outstanding.
I will definitely be listening to this again,

such a sweet story. Totally love reading it and listening just made it even better. I have to admit it's taken me awhile to warm up to this narrator. I've listened to a few of his works before and in the beginning I wasn't a fan. However he's improved dramatically and each of the books I've heard have been more and more enjoyable. The emotions and feelings he conveys for each character really makes them come alive.
This was truly a very enjoyable listen and has been permanently added to my library.

You can easily switch to male and female characters and the story is still moving. Intimate moments aside, the background stories are so today. I’m all for people overcoming their pasts and finding vindication and love in the end. Thank you for this.

Great story, great performance, more please

I absolutely loved this sweet romance. Nolan is forced to return to a small town he hates to assist the parents that never supported him. He is having financial troubles, his ex ruined his career and to top it off, his car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Life sucks for him right now. Then he is reunited with Dallas. The one time town golden boy who has had a tough time of his own. Both men have demons to deal with and their love story really touched me. No small measure goes to Micheal Pauley who does a masterful job. He really brought these men to life for me. I picked this book up because it was in the Romance Package, but I must buy book 2 immediately. I don't want to let go of this couple or their family.

THIS BOOK IS AWESOME

This book is AWESOME and the narration moved me to tears 💖
Nolan and Dallas destinies were intertwined since their teenage years but insecurities speak louder when you need to be a perfect son, so Dallas never acted on his attraction to quiet Nolan... He never acted... nor to speak to him, nor to protect him against bullies. He knows he deserved what fate had in store for him.
All Nolan wanted was to leave Pelican Bay... to leave all the hurt and pain behind. what a cruel sense oh humor destiny has to bring him back to Pelican Bay... not as the famous violinist he used to be... but as someone with a tainted past...
These two wounded souls will find in each other the strength to grow as individuals, and the love to grow as one.
AWESOME book. Awesome narration.

Story was perfect

I think the author found perfect ups and downs not stringing things along too much and gave you enough information to care about her characters. Her ability to make you smile laugh and cry while you listen to this book is amazing. Well done

This is one of my favorite MM series. I love the characters and the story.
