Good Story

not a fan of the details of their sex lives. liked the main story line.

Slow start

Disappointing start too much repetitive dialogue trying to create a sexual tension. Otherwise when the intrigue of the story finally came it was compelling.

Gotta love the HEA :-)

Wonderful action, lots of emotion, a hunky hero and a 'pixie' of a heroine. Lovely story for lovers of romance.

Great storyline

This is a great story full of twists and turns. I was not sure which way things would end up a few times along the way. I appreciate the whit and the guy wanting more than shallow. And, yes…the steamy parts are steamy.
Thanks TO for writing a great book. I only wish I never got to the end because I like the world you create.

Should have been good .........

It was just too slow and the characters just were a bit boring - it felt fairly forced, we keep getting told what they are internally thinking but there is not much action to back up the thoughts.
I cant quite put my finger on it - its not terrible, but also not interesting

Narration was awful with no voice, inflection, or emotion.

I tried to get into this book, but the narration was so flat and lacked any emotion. Making it difficult to become engaged in the story too bad not only did I not want to finish this audible book, but I also wouldn’t check out another by this author, unless they had a different narrator.

Very good story from start to finish could not stop listening to the great well written book.

Trista Gold and Matt Connors - Love them

Lock 'N' Load in the the first book in the Federal K-9 series by Tee O'Fallon. Trista Gold is a CIA analyst working on analyzing top secret code. Her job is her life, she is quiet and doesn't do anything to stand out in the crowd. CIA K-9 officer Sgt. Matt Connors meets Trista Gold at the security line for her building. Matt can't help but wonder what she's like under those gray clothes and quiet demeanor. Trista works late and stops to pick up food at a local joint but before she even gets out of her car she is grabs and dragged to the woods. Matt and his K-9 partner are headed to the same joint when they see a man dragging a woman into the woods. To Matts horror he recognizes Trista. Matt and his K-9 step in and save Trista but her attacker gets away. What in the world can be happening, Trista lives a quiet life, no boyfriend, a couple of work friends she spends time with. Trista is now under protection in a safe house with officers and their K-9 partners. To make matters worse Trista is terrified of dogs. I have to say I loved this book, it was an amazing read. The story is original and the characters are all amazing. The dogs just add the additional touch to melt your heart. This is a must read!

Entertaining story and narration

This book has great characters with all their faults and strengths. I love the dog as well. The story has suspense and excitement and a great ending. The narration is very good. The book is a bit longer than I prefer, but it is entertaining.

Dogs and Cops, who could ask for more

I loved this book. Action from the very first page. Unseen plot twist which made me want for more. I'm all about dogs, but the intro to her cat was a nice and comedic part of the story.
l. recommend this book for all ages and a K-9 LEOs out there.
