About this listen

Mark Dawson’s Group Fifteen Files. Quick, lightning-paced action from the first minute to the last.

Bjorn Thorsson joined the Special Air Service to forget the horrors of his childhood. He killed for Queen and country, and he was good at it. He quits the army and settles down, looking for a quieter life. When his beautiful sister, Gudrun, finds herself in trouble with the owner of a hedge fund, Bjorn promises to get her out of danger. But there’s another factor in play.

Group Fifteen, a clandestine government agency, has plans for the financier, and Bjorn is in their way. Bjorn must outwit the Group in the streets of London and in the Highlands of Scotland if he is to protect his sister and survive.

Great audio book

I like how the author is creating the back stories for each character. Exciting but Believable.

like the other books, the story is brought to life

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the writer's technique for character points of view. I recommend it!

Pretty darn good novella

Sometimes a good story, fabulous narration and a satisfying wrap up cones in a tidy package. Like this one by Mark Dawson, performed by David Thorpe, who does a great American thug accent. Very enjoyable!

I enjoyed this novella..

It's fun to get to know some of the other agents in this series. I'm moving on to the last book in this group.

Plenty of action

Plenty of action, lots to keep the story moving and entertaining. Need to pay attention. Lots of names and characters. Truly enjoyed this one. Good job Mark Dawson.

Fun series

Ib didn’t expect much but I had a blast listening to this for book series. I hope there are more coming. The stories have laid the ground with for a fun set of books. Week narrated, too.

Looking foreword to more.

A nice too short story. I thought the narration was above average and look forward to more from this author.

How ridiculously unrealistic!

I listened to the Atticus priest series and thought it was great! It was the first series of books I had listened to by Mark Dawson. Based on how much I enjoyed that series, those I had High Hopes for all his books. Then I listened to Witness X, (the first book out of two books in this series) and it too was ridiculously unrealistic. It was so outlandish, I almost didn’t listen to this book, but I thought it HAS to be better than Witness X, and I should have skipped it after all. I’m pretty sure I won’t be listening to the Milton series because they seem like they are going to be along the same lines as these two books. I have listened to over 500 audiobooks, and have only written 12 reviews. I’m so disappointed.

Good Divergent Story

This was a good divergent story. It is indeed in the vain of Group 15, but really takes a turn all it’s own. I enjoyed it, but I wish the story had been longer. Happy listening (or reading).
