Cloud Lake is a hotspot for UFO sightings.

Jessica Carver may have encountered one the night she disappeared.

This is her story.

Now Eva must face demons from her past as she meets both old and new friends along the way. Will her real identity be exposed? Can history truly repeat itself?

Join Jessica as she discovers the truth about her childhood in Lights over Cloud Lake, the newest novel from the author of the best-selling Survivors series.

Excellent narration by Melissa Thompson

A wonderful retelling of a strange event that occurred 20 years ago. The haunting memories of a young woman coincide with a trip to a childhood lake side cabin where stories of strange lights and missing people are more that just stories to those who've seen them.

Another jewel

Such a good story! Nathan can do no wrong imo.
I wish I had more free time to binge the rest or his work, but having audible versions are a convenient alternative to reading. Melissa Thompson did a great job.

Suspenseful scifi mystery at its best!

Loved it. No matter the genre, Hystad keeps the twists and turns coming throughout. Highly recommend this one.

A whodunit with an SF twist

I was drawn in by the characters right away, but it was the mystery that kept me hooked until the end. A really solid listen.

Surprisingly good!

I kept wondering if there were aliens or weren't right up till the end of the book. Nice way to keep the suspense going. I'm not even 100% sure right now what really happened, but if it could've been aliens then it definitely was.

Excellent book! Enjoyed it from start to finish.

Lights Over Cloud Lake is an amazingly good thriller centering on possible alien abductions. The character development and plot twists were thoroughly satisfying. I listened to it as an audiobook, and loved the narrator. Very easy to listen to.

Worst narrator ever.

I didn’t listen to the reviews and thought I’d give it a shot. I never realized how great some of these narrators are. I am used to them acting out the story. Keeping me engaged. This was just someone reading the story without any interest. Sounds like she has a cold. I would confuse who was talking as she never changed her voice to switch characters. I found myself zoning out as if someone was explaining something to me for too long. Super disappointed

What a waste of time

This story never really went anywhere. Very boring story. Narration was poor. No character differences so hard to follow. Also very little vocal inflection. Made an already boring story, hard to listen to. Probably should have given up on it but couldn’t believe the story would just never lift off.
